  • Occurrence of haemonchosis and sudden death among goats were observed in Livestock Farm Complex (Goat Farm Unit), Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science that comprises a flock of 33 animals (22 numbers of Beetal crossbred and 11 numbers of Assam Hill Goat).   • A field investigation was made in an organized goat farm near thanjavur city with the history of sudden mortality due to respiratory distress. About 300 tellicherry adult goats are maintained in that farm. Bilateral serous to mucopurulent nasal discharge, lymphadenopathy and respiratory stridor were observed in few animals.   • The present study was undertaken to assess the seasonal influence on the occurrence of gastrointestinal nematode diseases in an organized farm of Wayanad district of Kerala. Strongylosis was the most predominant gastrointestinal nematode followed by trichurosis and amphistomosis. Haemonchosis was the predominant strongyle infection in the farm.
