The prognosis of patients with Relapsed/Refractory Osteosarcoma (R/R OS) remains dismal without an agreement on systemic therapy. The use of High-Dose Ifosfamide (14 g/sqm) with an external pump in outpatient setting (14-IFO) in R/R OS patients is limited. This study represents the first retrospective cohort analysis focused on evaluating the activity and toxicity of 14-IFO in this setting.

This study aims to identify functionally relevant lncRNAs impacting OS proliferation and lipid metabolism and seeks to shed light on the upstream regulatory mechanisms governing lipogenic enzyme activity. Based on comprehensive bioinformatic analysis and the establishment of a risk model, we identified seven lncRNAs signifcantly associated with clinical characteristics and lipid metabolism-related genes in patients with OS.

Osteosarcoma (OS) mainly happens in children and youths. Surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy are the common therapies for osteosarcoma treatment but all their anti-tumor effects are limited.

Osteosarcoma (OS) is the most common primary malignancy of bone tumors. More and more ARHGAP family genes have been confrmed are to the occurrence, development, and invasion of tumors. However, its signifcance in osteosarcoma remains unclear. In this study, we aimed to identify the relationship between ARHGAP family genes and prognosis in patients with OS.

Osteosarcoma is the most common primary bone cancer that affects mostly children and young adults. Despite the advances in osteosarcoma treatment, the long-term survival rate of metastatic patients has not significantly improved in the past few decades, thus demonstrating the need for novel therapeutic targets or methods to improve metastatic osteosarcoma treatment.

The timing of events in the management of osteosarcoma may be critical for patient survivorship; however, the prognostic value of factors such as onset of symptoms or initiation of therapy in these patients has not been studied. This study sought to review the literature reporting treatment of osteosarcoma to determine the utility of event timing as a prognostic indicator.

Osteosarcoma is the most common primary malignant bone tumor. The current study was conducted to describe the general condition of patients with primary osteosarcoma in a single cancer center in Tianjin, China and to investigate the associated factors in osteosarcoma patients with lung metastasis.

Bone sarcomas are rare tumors representing 0.2% of all cancers. While osteosarcoma and Ewing sarcoma mainly affect children and young adults, chondrosarcoma and chordoma have a preferential incidence in people over the age of 40. Despite this range in populations affected, all bone sarcoma patients require complex transdisciplinary management and share some similarities.

Novel and effect immunotherapies are required for refractory or recurrent sarcomas. Transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) is a diverse regulatory and fibrogenic protein expressed in multiple sarcoma tumors that promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition and excessive deposition of extracellular matrix.

Primary and metastatic cardiac sarcomas represent rare neoplasms with a variable clinical course. We present a rare case of an 84-yearold man with a cardiac pacemaker and heart osteosarcoma, hepatocellular and prostatic carcinoma, who was admitted with suspected symptoms of infective endocarditis.

Extra-skeletal osteosarcoma (ESOS) is a rare neoplasm that represents less than 2% of all soft tissue sarcomas. Common reported sites of involvement include limbs, retroperitoneum, chest wall and buttocks. ESOS arising primarily in parenchymatous organs are extremely uncommon, with the involvement of the urinary bladder is even rarer. We herein report a case of primary ESOS of the urinary bladder in a 48 year-old male patient.

Osteosarcoma (OS) is a differentiation disease caused by the genetic and epigenetic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells into osteoblasts. OS is a common, highly malignant tumor in children and adolescents. Fifteen to 20 % of the patients find distant metastases at their first visit.

Complete surgical remission (CSR) is the best predictor of overall survival (OS) for patients with metastatic osteosarcoma. However, metastasectomy has not been widely implemented in China in the last decade due to various factors, and instead, most physicians choose hypofractionated radiotherapy to treat pulmonary lesions.

A number of studies have linked positive Ki-67 expression with the prognosis of osteosarcoma (OS) patients. However, the results have been conflicting. To address this controversy, we conducted an analysis using a meta-analysis and a TCGA dataset to estimate the value of Ki-67 expression in the prognosis of OS.
