Overshooting model

The portfolio-balance approach to exchange rate determination is part of the Asset Market Models and is largely attributed to economists after 1973 when the exchange rate became flexible (market determined). This article first introduces the setting of the model embedded in the portfolio balance approach that encompasses two assets (money and bonds), which deviates a little from the models and approaches used for the monetary approach to the balance of payment, the overshooting model, and from the associated market equilibria.

Under the framework of overshooting model and portfolio balance theory, this paper analyses the short-term spillover effect of Fed’s QE on asset prices in China. Policy shocks "overall events" have a significant impact on China's financial market. China's debt full price index, Shanghai-Shenzhen 300 and Nan-Hua Futures Composite Index have increased significantly, while the "single event" issuance has no notable impact.

An improved Reactor Regulating System (RRS) logic architecture, which is combined with genetic algorithm (GA), is implemented in this work. It is devised to provide an optimal solution to the current RRS. The current system works desirably and has contributed to safe and stable nuclear power plant operation. However, during the ascent and descent section of the reactor power, the RRS output reveals a relatively high steady-state error, and the output also carries a considerable level of overshoot.

Today, multiple terminologies used to describe mitral pathology. Terms such as prolapse, flail, partial flail, redundant, overshooting, stretching, elongation, floppy, billowing, ballooning, Barlow, dysplasia, myxoid, and myxomatous, for example, have different meanings for different specialists. The confusion comes first from the fact that several of these terms are synonyms. For example, flail leaflet, overshooting leaflet and leaflet prolapse are synonyms. Other synonyms are Barlow, billowing, ballooning, myxomatous valve, and mitral valve prolapse.
