Participation and time spent

Through the use of routine methods in physical education and sports, we conduct an assessment of the actual practice of extracurricular sports of students at the University of Phu Yen in various aspects. : Student's self-study subjects, time and number of practice sessions per week, time spent on each practice and form of practice, students' participation in practice, the actual situation of students' need to practive extracurricular sports.

The present study was taken up in the state of Tripura where two districts viz- Sepahijala and Gomati were purposively selected as these were mostly inhabited by Deb Barma and Jamatia tribes. Four villages from each district were selected and a total of 100 respondents were selected by Snowball sampling method making the total sample size 200.

In the study, a model for estimating effective doses to the participants is proposed to evaluate the exercise system, using the effective dose rates at particular times and locations derived from a computer program. The effective dose received by a student when she/he follows a successful route is about a half of the dose received when she/he does not follow the exercise guide directions. In addition, elapsed time to finish an exercise when following a successful route is less than one-third of the time spent to finish an exercise when following the guide's directions.

If your route can be organised as a predominantly self-guided walk this means you don’t need so many marshals or signs. This reduces the cost, time and effort spent putting up signs. However, large, mass- participation events do need highly visible marshals and may well need signs placed at strategic points to keep people on the right route. If you want to put up signs you’ll need to get approval from the local authority. If the route is mostly self-guided everyone should be given a clear map. Sections through parks and green spaces may need additional marshals to help point..

Writing this book has been one of the greatest professional experiences of my life. Several other authors told me how hard it would be, and they were right.
