Participatory budgeting

Rapid challenges and changes that are an integral part of the business environment require companies to plan their business carefully, as well as to assess the probability of future events occurring and resulting from them. Supply chain strategy research in budgeting in the public sector is interesting to study. The main target of the current paper is to analyze the impact of the participatory budgeting on the dysfunctional supply chain strategy mediated by selfefficacy in the public sector.

The participatory budgeting of Brazilian municipalities is one of the most publicized examples of democracy-inaction that fosters citizenship knowledge acquisition in local government. This research adds two new perspectives to the participatory process. The first one demonstrates how knowledge is acquired and shared, and which are the new contextual conditions for this acquisition to happen, which we call, the knowledge acquisition process.

The assessment identifies the strengths in the health system of Uganda and also the challenges that the Ministry of Health, with development partners, the private sector, and civil society, will need to address. System strengths include the participatory nature of health sector governance, the use of evidence generated locally and internationally to inform policy-making, improved collaboration between government and development partners, and the increase in the number of potential service delivery points across the country.

The rest of the paper is organized as follows. Section 2 evaluates the situation of German banks in terms of capitalization. In section 3, bad bank solutions of the past are studied and prerequisites for success are examined. Section 4 develops a classification scheme for existing and planned bad bank solutions. We develop in Section 5 the efficient design for a public bad bank. Section 6 evaluates the German Government’s bad bank proposal. Section 7 concludes. This Implementation Manual has been developed to guide provinces who wish to use Participatory Action Oriented Training (PAOT) as an IEC and community development tool to improve water and sanitation and environment at the household level. The Implementation Manual has been developed from experiences in pilots under the National Target Program (NTPII) in Ninh Thuan and Dak Lak provinces as well as other applications of PAOT in Vietnam.
