Accurate assessment of axillary status after neoadjuvant therapy for breast cancer patients with axil‑ lary lymph node metastasis is important for the selection of appropriate subsequent axillary treatment decisions. Our objectives were to accurately predict whether the breast cancer patients with axillary lymph node metastases could achieve axillary pathological complete response (pCR).

Cell adhesion molecule 3 (CADM3), a transmembrane glycoprotein on cell membranes, plays a role in the way of ligand and receptor interaction. However, there are few studies on CADM3 in tumors, and how it works in breast cancer (BC) remains unclear.

The axillary lymph-node metastatic burden is closely associated with treatment decisions and prognosis in breast cancer patients. This study aimed to explore the value of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT)–based radiomics in combination with ultrasound and clinical pathological features for predicting axillary lymph-node metastatic burden in breast cancer.

This study aims to develop an innovative, deep model for thymoma risk stratification using preoperative CT images. Current algorithms predominantly focus on radiomic features or 2D deep features and require manual tumor segmentation by radiologists, limiting their practical applicability.

Identifying risk factors for adverse pathologic features in low-risk papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC) can provide valuable insights into the necessity of surgical or non-surgical treatment. This study aims to develop a nomogram for predicting the probability of adverse pathologic features in low-risk PTMC patients.

Cerebral amyloidosis, neuroinflammation, and tauopathy are key features of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), but interactions among these features remain poorly understood. Our previous multiscale molecular network models of AD revealed TYROBP as a key driver of an immune- and microglia-specific network that was robustly associated with AD pathophysiology.

The RNA profiles of tumor-educated platelets (TEPs) possess pathological features that could be used for early cancer detection. However, the utility of TEP RNA profiling in detecting early colorectal cancer (CRC) versus noncancerous colorectal diseases has not yet been investigated.

Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is a heterogeneous disease comprising histologically defned subtypes. For therapy selection, precise subtype identification and individualized prognosis are mandatory, but currently limited. Our aim was to refne subtyping and outcome prediction across main subtypes, assuming that a tumor is composed of molecular features present in distinct pathological subtypes.

Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) has become a standard treatment strategy for breast cancer (BC). However, owing to the high heterogeneity of these tumors, it is unclear which patient population most likely benefit from NAC. Multi-omics ofer an improved approach to uncovering genomic and transcriptomic changes before and after NAC in BC and to identifying molecular features associated with NAC sensitivity.

Lipoprotein glomerulopathy is a rare and newly recognized glomerular disease that can lead to kidney failure. Its pathological features include the presence of lipoprotein embolus in the loop cavity of glomerular capillaries. It is believed that apolipoprotein E gene mutation is the initiator of the disease.
