Bioinspired structures are remarkable porous structures with great strengthto-weight ratios. Hence, they have been applied in various fields including biomedical, transportation, and aerospace materials, etc. Recent studies have shown the significant impact of the plastic 3D printed triply periodic minimal surfaces (TPMS) structure on the cement beam including increasing the peak load, reducing the deflection, and improving the ductility.

The species’ growth started from the early rainy season of the previous year until the end of the dry season of the following year. However, the period when the species had a high cover, biomass, and shoot density was from September 2018 to March 2019, and those values peaked in January 2019.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have a great influence on various physiological functions. A lot of high-throughput sequencing (HTS) research on miRNAs has been executed in the caprine mammary gland at different lactation periods (common milk lactation and dry period), but little is known about differentially expressed miRNAs in the caprine mammary gland of colostrum and peak lactation periods.

In this study, we have carried out the probabilistic seismic hazard analysis in Hanoi based on the latest seismotectonic data. The seismic hazard map shows peak ground acceleration values on rock corresponding to the 10% probability of exceedance in a 50-year time period (approximately return periods of 500 years).

This study was conducted in the period of 2014–2016. The breeding density of the European Turtle Dove (Streptopelia turtur) was determined in the MG-14 (35T) square of the Universal Transverse Mercator system. The maximum number of breeding pairs/100 ha was 4.4 in 2014, 2.4 in 2015, and 1.6 in 2016. The peaks of singing Turtle Doves occurred in the second half of May and at the end of June. The number of singing males in riparian and oak forests was higher compared to other habitats.

Oganov potentials and period boundary condition to perform molecular dynamics simulation of amorphous and liquid Mg2SiO4 systems under pressures 0 GPa and 40 GPa. We clarify structure of amorphous Mg2SiO4 at 0 and 40 GPa and compared with the one of Mg2SiO4 at liquid state. Especially, the origin of sub-peaks in radial distribution function of O-O, Si-Si and Mg-Mg pairs is explained clearly. The change of radial distribution functions, coordination number and the number of all types of bonds including the corner-, edge- and face-sharing bonds is also discussed in detail in this paper.

Depending on the need of crop spread, single pinch, pinch and a half or double pinch is given. Single pinch is done for early flower production, pinch and a half is done to increase the duration of flowering and provides steady production of flowers without any peak time and double pinching is done to delay flowering period.

he present investigation was conducted to study the effect of various non genetic factors like farm, parity, period of calving and season of calving on different production traits like total lactation milk yield (TLMY), 305 day milk yield (305MY), peak yield (PY), milk yield per day of lactation length (MY/LL) and milk yield per day of calving interval (MY/CI) in Murrah buffaloes. The data analysed include records of 2959 buffaloes, progeny of 219 sires maintained over a period of 24 years (1992-2015) at Buffalo research centre (BRC), LUVAS, Hisar and Animal farm ICAR-CIRB, Hisar.

The aim of this study is tracking the goals of national climate policies and real trends in the carbon intensity of the economies of the G20 countries. A comparative content analysis of the Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDC) of the G20 countries was performed. The trends of mean were built for the carbon intensity indicator of G20 countries in the period 1991-2014. The countries, which already passed the peak of the carbon intensity of the economy, were identified.

To assess the incidence and causative factors of unplanned hospital readmission within 90 days after surgical treatment of thoracic spinal stenosis (TSS). The incidence of 90-day unplanned readmission after surgical treatment for TSS is 1.7 %, CSF leakage and pseudomeningocele were the most common causes of readmission, the peak period of readmission occurred from 10 to 40 days after surgery, patients should be closely followed up within this period.

In this experiment, different districts of South Gujarat were closely examined for various diseases in different cultivars. A roving survey was conducted on cultivars’ field during the crop season and a fix point survey on cotton was conducted periodically at Research farm. On Research farm, periodical observations were recorded on G. Cot. Hy. 12 which revealed that bacterial blight appeared during the 2nd week of July (2.0 %) and then gradually developed and reached at its peak (23.5 % PDI) during the 3rd week of September and then declined, but prevailed up to 1st week of December.

In Odisha the Mahanadi is the largest river with an extensive delta responsible for most of the devastating flood hazards in the coastal zone. Over a period of 146 years between 1855 and 2000 there were 28 high flood years, 57 medium flood years and 48 low flood years (Mishra, 2008). There is a need to study the peak flood magnitude at different probability of exceedences by different probability distribution functions.

This paper presents the results of the flood frequency analysis of Meenachil river basin in Kerala using Gumbels extreme value distribution. The analysis used 34 years of data (1985-2018) to model the annual maximum discharge. The flood peak values of return period 2, 10, 50 and 100 year were computed and further extrapolation could be done to find out the flood discharge of any return period.

4 Lift Irrigation Schemes (LIS) were proposed in the study to utilize the available flows in the rivulet during Kharif period and also during the initial phase of Rabi crop. Besides this surface water utilization was proposed to be increased by repair and maintenance of the existing diversion canal of Bharri Dam. Peak carrying capacity of the diversion canal was worked out to be 85 lps and the irrigation command of it is 32.5 ha. It was found that there are 42 no. of bore wells in which 32 is working and 10 bore wells is not working.

The relative resistance or susceptibility of nearly 215 rice genotypes supplied by Indian Institute of Rice Research, Hyderabad was screened to identify the resistant genotype against rice yellow stem borer. The trial was conducted following augmented block design with two checks i.e., local check (BPT 5204) and susceptible check (TN1) for a period of two successive kharif seasons (2016 & 2017). The per cent incidence of stem borer was recorded at their peak infestation of dead hearts at tillering stage and white ears at reproductive stage.

The present study was undertaken to assess the seasonal influence on the occurrence of gastrointestinal nematode diseases in an organized farm of Wayanad district of Kerala. Strongylosis was the most predominant gastrointestinal nematode followed by trichurosis and amphistomosis. Haemonchosis was the predominant strongyle infection in the farm. The first peak of eggs (strongyle) per gram of faeces (EPG) in adult goats was observed during the month of April. In kids, the first peak of EPG was observed during the period January- February.

A total of 18 Murrah buffaloes of 1st to 3 rd parity were selected to study the effect of Body Condition Score (BCS) in milk production, milk composition and reproductive performance of lactating Murrah buffaloes. The Murrah buffaloes were distributed into three different groups with six animals in each group based on their pre-calving BCS (15 days before expected date of calving) namely G1 (2.50 - 3.00), G2 (3.25 - 3.75) and G3 (4.00 and above).

The present study was conducted in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, to study the production constraints faced by rice farmers and various suggestions given by them to overcome the constraints. The major agro ecological, technical, socio-economical and marketing constraints perceived by farmers were high temperature during crop growth, scarcity of labour during peak periods, diversion of farmers from rice cultivation to irrigated dry crops and involvement of middlemen respectively.
