Pearson’s method

This study was conducted to investigate the influence of Research and Development (R&D) in producing a safer car by investigating the manufacturing safety behaviors among employees of the manufacturing company. The quantitative method of data collection was utilized to collect the data among these employees and fifty-two respondents covering different age groups, educations levels and positions in the company had answered the survey. The main statistical analysis such as Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression was used to analyze this data gathered by using SPSS software.

This study screened phytochemicals to determine their total polyphenols content (TPC) by Folin-Ciocalteu reagents and to evaluate antioxidant activity using DPPH scavenging, ABTS cation decolorization, and reducing power assays of various extracts of Symplocos cochinchinensis leaves. A correlation between TPC and antioxidant activity was analysed by Pearson’s method.

The study uses the data of the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand over the period of 1995-2017 as gathered from the World Bank and Global Economy. The study uses Brush Pagon LM and Pearson CD to test the cross-section dependence among variables while Levin et al., (2002) panel unit root test to check the stationary in the data. The knowledge of probable maximum one day rainfall for a given region corresponding to return periods varying from 2 to 100 years is essential for crop planning and designs of minor and major hydraulic structures. The probability analysis for maximum one day rainfall of Khurda region is done by different probability distribution methods (log normal 3-parameter, pearson method, log pearson, weibull, generalized pare to distribution and log normal) by taking the rainfall data of 25 years(1991-2015) through FLOOD - frequency analysis software.

Surajpur Lake is a prominent wetland site in National Capital Region, India, known for its rich avifaunal and aquatic biodiversity. The present study was carried out to analyse water quality and to check the relationship among various physicochemical parameters in both temporal and spatial scales from March 2012 to February 2013. The water samples were collected from five different locations on monthly basis. Standard methods were followed for the collection, sampling and analysis for 12 physicochemical parameters. The data were analyzed using PAST (version 2.15) software.

The present study was aimed to study texture and instrumental colour of khoa prepared by using milk solids. Skim milk powder (SMP), cream (50% fat), ghee and whey protein concentrate were used for khoa preparation. To meet legal requirement of fat standardization was done by Pearson’s square method. SMP and ghee khoa was pretreated with 0.4% whey protein concentrate (WPC) to improve texture. Khoa samples were prepared using double stage homogenized and gas cooked method.

Genetic diversity analysis of nine varieties of wheat (Triticum aestivum) was evaluated using 14 SSR markers. A genetic relationship was studied by calculating the genetic distances using an un-weighted pair-group method with arithmetic mean (UPGMA) subprogram of NTSYS-PC software. The cluster analysis shows that the most closely related varieties were V6 (GW1255) and V9 (GW366); V4 (GW11) and V8 (GW273), V1 (GW503) and V3 (GW451) respectively. V7 (GW173) and V3 (GW451) were the most distinct varieties among all the 9 varieties analyzed in this study.

Pearson and Heywood (2004) studied reflection through a survey of attitudes toward and reported use of reflective portfolios in learning among UK GP registrars (postgraduate students). Sixty-five percent of 92 responders used the portfolio regularly for recording, and 42% used it in reflective learning. Three categories emerged in relation to the portfolio: reflectors, those who recorded data in the portfolio, reflected on that information and/or discussed it; recorders, those who used the portfolio to record data; and, non-users, those who did not record data in the portfolio.
