This study assesses the relationship between board independence and board size on the business performance of state-owned enterprises in Vietnam. With a dataset of 50 state-owned enterprises listed on the stock market during the period from 2016 to 2020, the research employs Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), Fixedeffects, and Random-effects regression models to examine the relationship.

In this study, it would be conduct a measurement of SC performance of iron sheet factory enterprise within using the SCOR model through the hierarchical integration based measurement system with traffic light system. The results of this study indicate that the integration of several methods such as Hierarchical Based Measurement System and Traffic Light System can provide a solution for management to evaluate and measure company performance more effectively, comprehensively, accountably and integrated.

In this research, Pearson correlation coefficient and regression test were used. This research aims to map the internal and external condition of SMEs in supply chain performance of tourism sector and determines the effective strategy to increase the human resource performance for each region. This research was conducted in East Java that has the most SMEs in Indonesia. Sampling was done in two stages, namely (1) selecting districts and (2) selecting MSMEs. The results of the sampling process were taken by 20 MSMEs in each district selected as a sample. SWOT was used as an analysis tool in this study.

This study aims to investigate the relationship between innovation and business performance among SMEs in Malaysia. A sample of 155 SMEs data has successfully collected through a survey. The collected data was analysed by using the Multiple Regression Analysis. The findings revealed that innovation had a significant positive effect on the SMEs firm business performance. The findings has strengthen the theory of resourcebased view (RBV) by filling in the scarcity of research on innovation as well as contributed to the significance of this study.

The results show positive impact from firms’ indicators of market orientation such as the improvement of existing products, the percentage of important customers within the same commune as the location of the firms, and the firm’s prioritizing attitude towards contacts of competitors within their network size. At the same time, the results detect negative impact on firms’ access to finance from the introduction of new operational processes/technologies, the number of important customers attributable to the increased resultant costs.

The study "Comparison of the performance of state-controlled and private-controlled enterprises - evidence from the electricity industryin Vietnam" aims toexamine the impact of ownership structure on business performance. The study uses a sample of 51 companies in electricityindustry listed on Vietnam’s stock market in 2017. The author uses multi-linear regression to evaluate the effect of the structure ownership on the performance of enterprises. The study shows that state-controlled enterprises have a lower performance than privatecontrolled firms.

The research aims at demonstrating the negative relationship between overinvestment and performance. The dataset from Thomson Reuters covers 669 Vietnamese non-financial listed companies from 2013 to 2017. With the use of Fixed Effects Model in both Investment Demand Function and main econometric model, the paper indicates that overinvestment, the cause leading to ineffective operations in corporate businesses, tends to worsen firm performance.
