Performed comparative evaluation

In this paper, the type of obstacle micro mixer model was designed and investigated by numerical simulation to improve the mixing efficiency. Passive mixers with tail-added obstacles structures were studied and compared with other conventional T microstructures, and then their mixing performance was numerically evaluated.

In this study, a layered O3-type Ni-rich cathode material for sodium-ion batteries was synthesized through co-precipitation followed by a solid-state reaction at 650 oC in dry air. The electrochemical properties of the Ni-rich material were evaluated. Charge/discharge performance demonstrated that the material delivered higher capacity compared to other layered oxides.

This thesis presents an evaluation of the mapping performance of a variety of SLAM algorithms that are freely available in the Robot Operating System (ROS), in conjunction with ranging data from various ranging sensors suitable for use onboard small UAS. To compare the quality of the generated maps, an existing metric was initially employed, however deficiencies noted in this metric led to the development of two new metrics. A discussion of both the existing and new map quality metrics, and the advantages and disadvantages of each, is presented as part of this thesis.

This paper presents a comparative study of two different forward methods such as the space domain method and the frequency domain method. The performance of each method was evaluated on two synthetic models. In this study, an improved algorithm for n/g discrimination using a parameter, which is the ratio of the rise time to the pulse height, is proposed. The n/g discrimination performance of the algorithm is evaluated by applying it to 252Cf neutron signal separation from various gamma-ray exposure rate levels ranging 0.1e5 R/h. The performance is compared to that of the conventional pulse-height analysis method in terms of the gamma elimination ratio.

This paper conducts a pilot research on the relationship between industrial policy quality and growth performance. A middle income trap is defined as a situation where the domestic economy is unable to create value beyond what is delivered by given advantages. Given advantages include natural, demographic and geographical factors as well as such external factors as trade, aid, and foreign investment inflow. When growth depends mainly on these factors, little domestic value is created and the economy does not reach high income.
