This study aimed to evaluate the nutritional status and activities of daily living of older adults in a Vietnamese nursing home. A cross-sectional study included 100 older pepole aged ≥ 60 years old in a nursing home in Northern Vietnam in 2023.

The study was carried out to assess the Knowledge and Practice of food hygiene among food vendors in North East Zone, Nigeria. The researchers used descriptive survey design and the population of the study was some selected food vendors in North East Zone, with population of three hundred and sixty (360) where sixty (60) of them were sampled for the study through simple random sampling technique, the instrument used for the collection of data for the study was selfstructured questionnaire and the data collected were analyzed using frequency counts and percentage.

The study was planned to assess the Management of Menstrual Waste among Rural Families. Girls and women have very less or no knowledge about reproductive tract infections caused due to ignorance of personal hygiene and menstruation time. In rural areas, women do not have access to sanitary products or they know very little about the types and method of using them or are unable to afford such products due to high cost. So women mostly rely on reusable cloth pads which they wash and use again. Adolescent girls mostly used the sanitary pads.

Street foods are an important part of urban diets for the low and middle income group as they are readily available and low cost. Safety of these street vended foods is of vital importance from the public health point of view in developing countries like India. A total of 148 street food stalls in fives zones of Delhi were surveyed using an observation checklist to document available foods, physical condition of vending location, food preparation and handling practices and personal hygiene of street food vendors.

Healthcare acquired infections also known as nosocomial infection are associated with increased morbidity and mortality among hospitalized patients and healthcare workers to an increased risk of infections. This study explores the knowledge and practices of infection control practices among health care workers in Saveetha medical college which is a tertiary care hospital. This is a cross-sectional study. A self-administered structured questionnaire was distributed to the study group (of CRRIs and nurses). Data on knowledge and practice of infection control were obtained and analyzed.

Intestinal parasitic Infections are one of the major health problems in developing countries like India. The prevalence of different parasitic infections varies from one place to another and depends on many factors such as socio-economic status, hygiene, water supply, sanitation, population density, nutritional status and climatic conditions. This was a retrospective study conducted from January 2017 to December 2018 at a tertiary care hospital, Kalaburagi which is a dry, hot place. Raw milk and milk products are traditional staple diets that are popularly consumed by both rural and urban population of Northern Nigeria and many other parts of Africa. The aim of the study was to isolate E. coli from unpasteurised raw milk and milk products (Madara, Kindrimo, Nono and Manshanu) during the rainy and dry seasons in Abuja in order to ascertain the hygienic status of the dairy products. Three hundred unpasteurised raw milk and its products were collected in both rainy and dry seasons respectively.

The adoption of mulberry cultivation and silkworm rearing technologies by the sericulture farmers was studied in Krishnagiri district. The data were collected from the selected sample ninety sericulturists with a structured schedule by using personal interview methods. Three categories of sericulturists viz. full adoption, partial and non-adoption were made. Adoption on mulberry cultivation practices was high on mulberry variety (100%), seriboost/ poshan (100 %), spacing (84.44 %) and chemical fertilizer (78.88 %).
