Curculigo orchioides and Curculigo latifolia (Hypoxidaceae) have been widely used as traditional medicines in Indonesia and other Asian countries for antihyperglycemic, aphrodisiac, antioxidant, and antimicrobial treatments. This work aimed to determine the distribution of secretory structures and metabolites. Metabolite profiling approach of the plant organs was determined by UHPLC-QOrbitrap-HRMS.

Thirty Desmodium gangeticum (L.) DC. accessions were evaluated for genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance for four yield attributing traits collected from different parts of India. The analysis of variance for mean squares for different characters was found to be highly significant for most of the characters under study except for lamina width, petiole length and internode length.

Twenty five carrot genotypes were evaluated for different parameters in a randomized complete block design with two replications. Correlation analysis revealed that total yield/ha exhibited positive significant association with plant height at 60 DAS, plant height at harvest, leaf length, petiole length, root weight, core diameter, core thickness and cortex thickness, while negative significant association was found with root/top length ratio at both genotypic and phenotypic level.

Genetic variability and correlation analysis of vegetative, floral, nut and yield characters were studied with 11 tall and 3 dwarfs which include 6 indigenous and 8 exotic coconut genotypes from diverse geographic origin. Analysis revealed a high degree of variability for most of the character studied.

A study was conducted to know the petiole nutrient content in different grape genotypes belonging to table purpose white and coloured types along with wine grape types. Petiole nutrient contents among three different grapes types varied significantly. Petiole P, K, Mn and Zn contents among the three grape types varied in the order: table white > table coloured > wine grape. Petiole P, Ca, Mn and Cu content of wine and table purpose white type differed significantly, where as other macro and micro nutrients did not differ significantly.

Forty two Physico-chemical characters recorded from 32 accessions of Lime, Lemon and Pseudo limon accessions collected from four districts of Himachal Pradesh in India were subjected to diversity studies. Descriptive statistics showed vast variation in Fruit size, Fruit rind thickness, petiole wing width and numbers of seeds / fruit. PCA showed a total of 30 components of which first ten accounted for 87.24% of variability.

The 33 diverse genotypes were evaluated for mean performance, genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance for yield and yield contributing characters namely plant height, number of leaves plant-1 , length of the petiole, internodal length, number of tubers plant-1 , individual tuber weight, dry matter content of the tubers, tuber length, tuber girth, tuber length diameter ratio, harvest index, leaf area, starch, HCN content, tuber yield plant-1 . Analysis of variance revealed the presence of significant differences among the genotypes for all the characters.
