In the present study, PCA performed for phenological and yield component traits revealed that out of sixteen, only four principal components (PCs) exhibited more than 1.00 eigen value, and showed about 74.79 % total variability among the traits studied under stress condition while under normal condition out of sixteen, only five principal components (PCs) exhibited more than 1.00 eigen value and showed about 77.84% variability among the traits studied.

This study examines the effect of climatic factor e.g. Maximum Temperature, Minimum Temperature and sunshine variation on the yield of different stages of wheat in during Rabi season 2015-16 at research and instructional farm of IGKV Raipur (CG) India. The correlations of average wheat yield for 14 crop seasons (2001-02 to 2015-16) have been studies for kanchan variety.

Soybean crop is grown predominantly under rainfed conditions in Vidarbha region where weather parameters play an important role at different phenophase of the crop influencing the growth, development and final yield performance. But amongst them, only few parameters are significantly contributing to the crop growth and yield. So in order to identify such parameters and quantify their contribution, a field investigation was carried out with four sowing times and three varieties with four replications and 12 treatments.

The present study was conducted to evaluate 38 greengram genotypes to determinethe nature and extent of variation in the phenological traits related to synchronous maturity. A field trial was laid under a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications; observations were recorded on 17 morphological characters. Analysis of variance revealed significant variation among genotypes for all the characters except for 100 seed weight. Different genotypes were found superior for different characters.

A field experiment of rice crop was conducted during Kharif season 2016 at Agrometeorological Research Farm of N.D.U.A&T, of Kumarganj, Faizabad. The experiment was conducted in Randomized Block Design. The treatment comprised of three dates of Transplanting viz. 5th July (D1); 15th July (D2) and 25th July (D3) with three varieties viz. NDR-80 (V1); Pant Dhan-4 (V2) and Swarna (V3). In this study, DSSAT-CERES model was used to assess the impact of temperature on productivity of crop.

The results of this study showed that nitrogen fertilization influenced variably the chemical composition of P. plicatulum regardless of the phenological stage and the cutting year. In fact, crude protein, Ash, digestible organic matter, digestible nitrogenous matter and metabolizable energy increased significantly (p

The production of grapes for early table consumption is becoming more popular in the Mediterranean region of Turkey. In this study, the cultivation of 5 early table grape cultivars (‘Ergin çekirdeksizi’, ‘Uslu’, ‘Yalova incisi’, ‘Cardinal’, and ‘Perlette’) in the open field and under protected cultivation were compared in 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 seasons.

Genetic diversity is the fundamental source of biodiversity – the total number of genetic characters contributing to variation within species. In other words it is the measure that quantifies the variation found within a population of a given species. Genetic diversity among individuals reflects the presence of different alleles in the gene pool, and hence different genotypes within populations. Genetic diversity should be distinguished from genetic variability, which describes the tendency of genetic traits found within populations to vary (Laikre et al., 2009).
