The study aimed to explore the molecular mechanisms of miR-124-3p which influence IR leading to T2DM establishment. HepG2 cells were cultured in vitro, and palmitic acid (PA) was used to construct the IR cell model. In the IR model, transfection of miR-124-3p or phosphoglucomutase 1 (PGM1) linked plasmids were transfected into HepG2 cells. RT-qPCR was used to determine the miR-124-3p and PGM1 expressions in the cells.

A novel immunodeficiency, frequently accompanied by high serum-IgE, and caused by mutations in the PGM3 gene was described in 2014. To date there are no unique phenotype characteristics for PGM3 deficiency. PGM3 encodes a carbohydrate-modifying enzyme, phosphoglucomutase 3.

In this study the aspartate aminotransferase (AAT, E.C. 2.6.1.1), phosphoglucomutase (PGM, E.C. 5.4.2.2) and phosphoglucose isomerase (PGI, E.C. 5.3.1.9) isozyme patterns of nine different diploid and tetraploid wild wheat species belonging to the Aegilops L. and Triticum L. genera were analysed electrophoretically, using horizontal starch gel and non-denaturating polyacrylamide gel (only for AAT).
