It can be seen that the objects of wastewater that need to be treated are quite diverse in types and complex in terms of reaction mechanisms. The methods mainly focus on the treatment of toxic organic compounds, especially phenols or plant protection agents in industrial wastewater, paper industry, food production, textile industry, printing industry.

The aim of this project was to select highly sensitive and specific aptamer capable of detecting Fusarium graminearum (Fg) and F. pseudograminearum (Fp) species. The aptamer-based testing allows early detection of fungal infection in the field. Fungi are known to change their activity and may often undergo genetic changes. The classic "gene for gene" theory explains the relationship between host plant cultivars and fungal pathogenic races.

Mangrove plants play a viral role in protecting the coast, retraining erosion. Especially in areas considered the variable wave conditions, complex dynamic conditions such as the coastal region of Hai Phong city. However, due to various reasons, the development/additional planting of mangrove forests in the coastal area of Hai Phong in some locations has not achieved the desired result.

Alternative strategies are needed in pest management to protect crops from pests. Occurrence of epiphytic lactic acid bacteria (LAB) on crop plants, especially on sites that are selected by pests, may be associated with host selection by insects. We carried out laboratory investigations as well as screen house and field experiments to understand whether epiphytic LAB occur at oviposition sites of agricultural and horticultural crops, probably modulating pest abundance by attraction or repulsion. The diversity of such epiphytic LAB associated with insect oviposition sites is discussed.

The signaling properties of the gasotransmitter molecule hydrogen sulfide (H2S), which is endogenously generated in plant cells, are mainly observed during persulfidation, a protein post-translational modification (PTM) that affects redox-sensitive cysteine residues. There is growing experimental evidence that H2S in higher plants may function as a mechanism of response to environmental stress conditions.

The present investigation entitled “factors contributing for high yielding of cauliflower and to find out the constraints faced by the farmers in Khagaria District of Bihar” was carried out during 2017-18 120 respondents from 10 villages were randomly selected and data were collected and analysed by using appropriate statistical methods. From the study it was found that the factors contributing for increasing yield of cauliflower were sowing at proper time (90.00%), applying organic manure (81.60%), taking plant protection measures from time to time (78.

It is widely accepted that oxidative modification of lowdensity lipoprotein (LDL) plays a pivotal role in the initiation and development of atherosclerosis. In the present study, we found that the MeOH and H2O extracts of the plant Ampelopsis cantoniensis, and its main constituent, myricetin, possessed significant protective effects on LDL oxidation induced by either a metal ion (Cu2+) or a free radical (AAPH).

NAD(P)H:quinone acceptor oxidoreductases are flavoenzymes expressed in the cytoplasm of many tissues and afford protection against the cytotoxic effects of electrophilic quinones by catalyzing a strict two-electron reduc-tion. Such enzymes have been reported from several mammalian sources, e.g. human, mouse and rat, and from plant species.

Substantial levels of trehalose accumulate in bacteria, fungi, and inverte-brates, where it serves as a storage carbohydrate or as a protectant against environmental stresses. In higher plants, trehalose is detected at fairly low levels; therefore, a regulatory or signaling function has been proposed for this molecule.
