Ebook "Fundamentals of soil science (8th edition)" revision of a bestselling text shows that soil is three-dimensional and dynamic. This concept is developed in the first two chapters and is built on throughout the book. Chapters 3 through 7 explore soil physical properties and water, with expanded coverage of tillage and traffic and an increased emphasis on water and wind erosion processes. Chapters 8 through 11 discuss the biological aspects of soils as well as their mineralogical and chemical properties.

The taxonomic treatment with a description is provided, along with photographs, distribution, ecology, a conservation assessment, and morphological comparison with its alliance species. It is similar to Zingiber orbiculatum and Zingiber mioga in having whitish flowers and bright yellow anthers but differs in many aspects of vegetative and reproductive characteristics. Moreover, a taxonomic key for all species of sect. Cryptanthium in Vietnam is included.

DNA barcoding is a short DNA fragment, is used to distinguish between species, especially morphologically similar species and processed specimens that are difficult to distinguish species. For plants, the regions of DNA used as barcodes in identification or taxonomy are usually sequences of the chloroplast genome and the nuclear genome, including the coding regions and the non-coding regions.

Cynodon dactylon × Cynodon transvaalensis is one of the most important turfgrasses. Sequencing the C. dactylon × C. transvaalensis mitochondrial genome can help us learn more about its genomic composition and allow further study of the population genetics, taxonomy, and evolutionary biology of Poaceae plants and other related species. Here the C. dactylon × C. transvaalensis mitochondrial genome was sequenced using Illumina HiSeq combined with PacBio sequencing technology, and the map of the mitochondrial genome was constructed after de novo assembly and annotation. The C. dactylon × C.
