The study was concluded that, mist chamber conditions promote seed germination very well than any other environmental conditions. Following mist chamber, shade net and polyhouse raised seedlings performed very well.

The present study was conducted to know the impact of Krishibhagya scheme on beneficiaries of Hyderabad-Karnataka region during the year 2017-18. The present study was conducted in six districts namely Bidar, Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Raichur, Koppal and Ballari coming under the jurisdiction of University of Agricultural Sciences Raichur, Karnataka. From each district 5 Krishibhagya beneficiaries (including both Farm pond and Polyhouse) and 5 non beneficiaries were selected randomly following simple random sampling technique.

An experiment was carried out on softwood grafting in Jamun (Syzygium cumini Skeel) under open and controlled conditions during 2016. The result of experiment suggested that least number taken for sprouting recorded in T8 (M3C2: June + shade net) (14.00) and first leaf emergence in T7 (M3C1: June + low cost polyhouse) (21.00).
