Pooled ANOVA

Although Rapeseed is the most important and most widely cultivated oilseed crop in Assam, its yield is much below the national average. The present investigation was conducted to evaluate genetic variation and performance for yield traits in 14 segregating breeding populations and 4 parent rapeseed varieties (Jeuti, TS 38, YSH 401 and NRCYS 05-03) using randomized block design (RBD) with three replications. Significant differences were observed for all the 13 characters from the pooled analysis of variance.
