The structure of the new acid and data of potentiometric titration were analyzed in detail before calculating and assigning the pKa values to suitable functional groups. These results will be applied to our further studies of this compound.

The Doctoral Thesis Abstract: Study on the method for determination of the equilibrium constants of acids-bases in aqueous solution based on the results of potentiometric titration

The target of this project is to construct a general and feasible procedure to determine the acidic equilibrium constants in aqueous solution at 25oC from the data of the potentiometric titration process in a rapid, simple and effective way. Then it will be applied to estimate the equilibrium constants of some new acids.
