This study also analyzed different scenarios and noticed that the total loss of the distribution decreased by increasing the number of BESS. Pooled CRISPR screens are a powerful tool to probe genotype-phenotype relationships at genome-wide scale. However, criteria for optimal design are missing, and it remains unclear how experimental parameters affect results. Here, we report that random decreases in gRNA abundance are more likely than increases due to bottle-neck effects during the cell proliferation phase. One-pot synthesis of novel quinoline- and quinolone-substituted 1,2,3-triazoles has been performed from the key intermediates, quinoline- and quinolone-substituted propargyl derivatives 1–3 (48%–88% yields). The antioxidant properties of the newly synthesized compounds, 1a–1c, 2a–2c, and 3a–3c, were evaluated by monitoring DPPH (2,2- diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) radical scavenging abilities, metal chelating effects, and reducing power. The scavenging effects of compounds on the free radical decreased in the order of 3b > 3a > 1b and were found to be 36.3%, 34.9%, and 27.

This attack technique decreases the number of power traces for correctly recovering the secret key by approximately 13% in normal conditions and 60% in noisy conditions compared to a traditional CPA attack. Experiments were performed on power traces of AES-128 implemented in both microcontroller and FPGA by Sakura-G/W side channel evaluation board to verify the effectiveness of our method.

Generating power from renewable biogas in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) is an environment-friendly, efficient, and promising energy conversion process. Biogas can be used in SOFCs via a reforming process for which dry reforming is more suitable as the reforming agent exists in the biogas mixture. Research on landfill gases (LFGs) collection mainly consisting of CH4 and CO2 gases, is not only a solution to decrease environmental risks but also to utilize and generate an alternative clean power source of coal. Many typical landfill cases in Vietnam, which install a recovery system and remove captured CH4 by the flaring methods, are able to contribute to reducing significantly greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions with roughly 0.25 tCO2–eq/tons being equivalent to 7.8 million tons of CO2–eq/year.

The amounts of K release in successive extraction with hot 1N HNO3 decreased consistently and reached to plateau at 6th to 8th extractions in the soils. The K release in the 1 st extraction was 452.6 to 890.9 mg/kg, whereas at 9th extraction it was 8.2 to 13.1 mg/kg. The step K contents of the soils varied from 663.2 to 1452.7 mg/kg. The ratio of step K to non-exchangeable K of the soil was in the range of 1.22 to 1.38 which may be used as a better index of mobilization of non-exchangeable K reserves to plants.

The influence of two factors - "broomrape" and "soil type" on quantities of seven trophic groups of soil microorganisms (Autochthonous; Oligotrophic; Actinomycetes; Microscopic fungi; Ammonifying; Assimilating mineral nitrogen; Aerobic nitrogen-fixing bacteria of the genus Azotobacter) were determined. Power loss in the power distribution system is computed with “ETAP” simulation software. From computing result of distribution network losses on existing line at PT. PLN UPJ. Bantul BNL 6, BNL 7 and BNL 11 feeders are gotten energy losses as 2,669,328 kWh per year or 1.72 %.
