The Environment Protection Fund is a state-owned institution that mainly provides concessional loans for environmental projects in Vietnam. Understanding the factors of access to green finances contributes not only in theory but also in the practice of identifying the financing constraints, and thereby supporting several policy implications. After conducting in-depth interviews with 32 individuals from the six largest and most experience Environment Funds and their clients in Vietnam, we identified three factors affecting access to concessional loans for environmental protection.

How to perform a breaking bad news consultation properly with the present circumstances and especially it fits the local people. The way to deliver bad news to cancer patients was studied and practiced widely in the world. Some studies were conducted in Vietnam but not yet in central Vietnam. The study was performed to note the needs of patients in the breaking bad news of cancer and to explore their own experience of giving bad news.

This research is a practice led investigation of interactive computer artworks that incorporate physical and interactive aspects of pre-computer age mechanical devices.The research initially proceeds by looking at interactive productions, previously produced by John Lycette, in order to identify any relationship to mechanical devices or factors that have influenced this field of enquiry. With process and materiality as subject and content, this project works through the changing and intertextual nature of contemporaneous meaning making under late-capitalism. The project makes use of common wooden materials such as pine, MDF, and plywood to support an object- and installation-based practice. Through the social relations of materiality and visibility of process, the physical outcomes promote the multiplicities of our intertextual contemporaneity while maintaining a physical grounding in the reality of everyday lived experiences.

This project examines how the moving image can be used as a vehicle of memory, to express what is lost, what is gained and what changes occur in relation to personal family migratory history—a messy and ambiguous process. This practice-led research project investigates video work, using filmed materials and objects, to focus attention on the non-linear aspect of time as it is subjected to individual and collective memories. The outcomes highlight the sometimes disconnecting and unpredictable experiences of migration, storytelling, and memory.

This research examines how parametric loudspeakers may be considered unique acousmatic musical instruments; how the parametric acoustic array (PAA) can potentially make new forms of music and listening experiences; and how PAA-design problems can be overcome. Interdisciplinary in nature, the study uses grounded theory and experimental music practice within a design research methodology. Theory emerges from data, in concert with analysis and framing that draws on areas such as electroacoustic music, spatial composition, acoustics, PAA science/theory, modulation theory, and medium theory.
