The highest luminescence product consists of spheroidal and relatively uniform particles with sizes around 0.6-1.0 µm. The variation of the precipitated precursor with temperature, the influence of sintering temperature on structure and luminescence, the mineralization role of boric acid and the chemical reactions that occur with generation of precipitated precursors and upon heating to give luminescent solid solution products are mentioned.

The zinc borate nanoparticles (2ZnO.3B2O3.3H2O) were successfully prepared by precipitation reaction in aqueous solutions of borax and zinc sulfate using oleic acid as a surfactant. The structural, morphological characteristics and the wettability of the particle surface were studied through Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the contact angle.

Solid-state reaction, co-precipitation, and sol-gel procedures were used to synthesize the Sr3Y1.95Ge3O12:0.05Eu3+ (SYGO: Eu3+) garnet structure. The morphological structure and photoluminescence properties of the samples were studied. Phosphors have morphologies and particle sizes that vary depending on the preparation.

Two twin series of carbon replicas were synthesized by the acid-catalyzed precipitation polycondensation of various amounts of furfuryl alcohol in SBA-15 suspensions using water and toluene as reaction media. The textural and structural parameters, as well as the morphology of the polymer/silica carbonizates and corresponding replicas, were investigated comprehensively.

NiO–Al2O3–ZrO2 and Co3O4–Al2O3–ZrO2 catalysts were prepared by three different co-precipitation methods, namely co-precipitation, surfactant-assisted co-precipitation, and surfactant-assisted co-precipitation with ultrasound mixing methods, and their activities were tested in selective CO methanation. Catalysts were characterized using N2 physisorption, XRD, SEM, TEM, XPS, and TPR-H2 techniques. CO methanation and selective CO methanation reactions were carried out.

Our studies on the selective catalytic reduction of NO (SCR-deNO) properties of M/γ-Al2O3 (M = Mn, Co, Cu) nanocatalysts are presented. All catalysts were prepared by homogeneous deposition precipitation using urea as the precursor for the precipitating agent. The SCR activity followed the order Mn/γ-Al2O3 > Cu/γ-Al2O3 > Co/γ-Al2O3. The nanocatalysts were characterized with respect to their texture (N2-BET), particle size (TEM), reducibility (H2-TPR), and acidity (NH3-TPD).

Potentially active and eco-friendly solid acid catalysts have been synthesized by loading different weight percentages (10, 15, and 50) of nickel oxide on thermally activated Turkish perlite through the deposition-precipitation method. Structural features of prepared catalysts were analyzed using BET surface area analysis, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope (SEM), SEM-EDX, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR), pyridine adsorbed FT-IR, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) techniques.

Textile azo dyes are one of the pollutants in waste water that adversely affect human and environmental health. Removal of these chemicals from wastewater is important for eco-system and human health. In this study, Bi2 O3 nanoflakes and ZnO were synthesized by the co-precipitation method. Adsorption and photocatalytic degradation reactions were carried out to remove dyes (Victoria blue (VB) and Malachite green (MG)) from wastewater with the photocatalysts.

In this study, biogenic copper and zinc oxide nanoparticles (G-ZnONPs and G-CuONPs) were synthesized by the green synthesis method using Malva parviflora L. (Millow) leaf extract and the obtained nanoparticles were characterized in detail with UVVis, FTIR, SEM, XRD. The antibacterial properties of the synthesized nanoparticles on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria were investigated and it was found that the nanoparticles had high antimicrobial activity in the results of the experiments.

The concentration of the HCl reaction medium and the following aging are the essential factors affecting the formation and phase composition of the resulting TiO2 nanocrystals. TiO2 nanoparticles in the form of pure anatase and the rutile phase can be extracted and segregated from the suspension and precipitate of the synthesizing medium.

Light absorption of the most plants is in range of blue (440 nm), deep-red (660 nm) and far-red around 700-740 nm. The deep-red and far-red light play important roles in reactions of photomorphogenesis of plants. Although red emission phosphors have been researched extensively for white light-emitting diodes, deep-red and far-red emission phosphors for plant growth have been reported inadequately. Thus, in this work, far-red emitting CaYAlO4:Mn4+ phosphor was synthesized by co-precipitation method coupled with various annealing temperature from 800 oC to 1300 oC for 5 h.

Molecular Biology experiments including gene cloning, restriction digestion, identification by 18S r-DNA requires purified and high quality genomic DNA. The major problems in DNA isolation from fungus are impurities such as polysaccharides, protein and RNAs which interfere in PCR reaction. In this study, proficient method for DNA extraction without using liquid nitrogen, CTAB or lysozyme was optimized. The method utilizes very few chemical compounds.

The use of enzymes in a free form is very uneconomical because the enzymes generally cannot be recovered at the end of the reaction. These drawbacks can be overcome by immobilization of the enzyme thereby rendering it more stable and easy to recover and recycle. It is a very effective alternative for gripping the problems of instability, repetitive use and reduction in the cost of enzyme. The aim of this research was to obtain the optimum condition of the making of immobilized amylase beads using a different natural matrix. The result obtain that amylase producing isolate i.e.
