Preparation techniques

The aim of this study was to design and characterize a NdFeO3-based photocatalyst prepared by sol-gel method for treatment of oily wastewater. Different characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), UV–vis spectrophometer were used to elucidate the structure, morphology, surface functional groups, and optical absorption properties of the prepared NdFeO3 photocatalyst.

In this study, perovskite BaTiO3 and SrTiO3 catalysts were prepared using the sol-gel method for oxidative coupling of methane (OCM). Characterization of catalysts was investigated by X-ray diffraction for crystal properties, physical N2 adsorption to determine specific surface area, and temperatureprogrammed techniques to examine the redox properties and acid–base strength.

In the present work, a green synthesis of cuprous oxide nanoparticles was demonstrated using the freshly prepared aqueous extract of the aloe vera plant and the cupper oxide nanoparticles were characterized by the analytical techniques such as UV-Vis, FT-IR, XRD, and EDX.

In this study, we systematically screened and assessed the antibacterial efficacy of five chitosan preparations of different viscosities and components. Additionally, we explored the synergistic antimicrobial potential of the most potent chitosan sample in combination with commonly employed antibiotics, including ampicillin, amoxicillin, oxacillin, and levofloxacin against four prevalent BM-causing pathogens: Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus uberis and Pseudomonas sp.

In this research, in an attempt to make use of the kaolin resources in Vietnam, we present a synthetic process of zeolite A via hydrothermal from kaolinite, together with the modification process of zeolite A using different metallic cations. The characteristics of the prepared zeolite LTAs such as chemical composition and crystalline structure, as well as their catalytic activity in the methanation reaction of carbon dioxide (CO2) to methane (CH4) were extensively investigated.

Amorphous alloy ribbons of (Fe50Ni50)73.5Si13.5B9Nb3Cu1 were fabricated by rapid cooling technique on single copper wheel. After fabrication, the crystalline structure of the ribbons were examined by X-ray diffraction method. The results show that the samples possess a complete amorphous state.

The focus of this study is to investigate its optical and conductive properties under different conditions of doping environments, temperature and polymerization conditions. Optical characterization technique such as UV-Visible spectroscopy is developed to carry out the investigation. The developed nanofibers have been demonstrated to possess optical and conductive properties to be dependent on doping variables. Study of these optical properties could prove very useful in the development of electrochromic devices and gas sensors.

Traditional ceramic technology combined with a two-step sintering technique has been applied to prepare 0.96(K0.48Na0.48Li0.04)(Nb0.95Sb0.05)O3-0.04Bi0.5(Na0.82K0.18)0.5ZrO3 (KNLNS-BNKZ) piezoelectric ceramics. The enhancements of zero superconducting transition temperature (Tc,0) in Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2- xNaxCu3O10+δ (BPSCCO) are reported. The BPSCCO samples (with x ranging from 0.00 to 0.06) were prepared by using the conventional solid state reaction technique.
