This study investigates the use of online educational game applications in teaching English grammar at Binh Tri 2 Primary School. The participants of the study were 64 fifth grade students and six teachers. A mixed-method design was used in this study to collect quantitative data via questionnaire for students and qualitative data via semistructured interview for English teachers.

This study, however, focuses more on generally well-received blogs generated by widely accepted beauty writers aged 25-35 (the quality of well-received is defined by the number of followers in each page – averagely 10,000 and above). Additionally, for the collecting data of the study to be conducted thoroughly, entries with the occurrence of code-switch rather than randomly chronological posts are chosen as the primary material for valid and reliable linguistic analysis.

The selected research designs for this thesis are cross-sectional and case study and as mentioned above Iran has been chosen as the case study of this thesis. Pest control practices in the vegetable crops have been heavily dominated by the routine use of broad-spectrum insecticides to control pests. Concerns have emerged about the adverse consequences of over use of pesticide. These consequences include short and longterm health hazards, contamination and environmental degradation. The study was done based on primary and secondary data sources. A self-administered questionnaire was designed to collect relevant information from the selected 203 respondents. Among this 200 questionnaire were returned and analyzed. Multistage sampling method was used and employees are selected from each stratum with a systematic sampling technique. The collected data was analyzed by SPSS version 20 using descriptive statistics and multiple regressions.

In this study the issue of staff retention is explored and the external and internal factors affecting staff working in a humanitarian context are analysed. The objective of the study is to identify the most appropriate approach NGOs can adopt to improve retention of Gen Y staff working in a humanitarian context. NGOs will then be in a position to design a HR strategy that takes into consideration the specific needs and expectations of Gen Y staff. This is turn will allow for a more sustainable humanitarian workforce and more effective humanitarian action.
