The primary objective of this study is to identify the factors that impact students’ learning outcomes and propose measures for enhancing these outcomes. The research encompasses two phases: qualitative research and quantitative research. Following the survey and data cleansing procedures, the sample size for analysis comprises 350 observations.

To evaluate the impact of intraoperative hypotension and hemodynamic instability on survival out‑ comes in patients with high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC). Methods: We retrospectively identified patients with HGSOC, who underwent primary or interval debulking surgery between August 2013 and December 2019. We collected anesthesia-related variables, including the arterial blood pressure measurements (at 1-min intervals) during the surgery of patients.

Patients increasingly use patient-reported outcomes (PROs) to self-monitor their health status. Visualizing PROs longitudinally (over time) could help patients interpret and contextualize their PROs. The study sought to assess hospitalized patients’ objective comprehension (primary outcome) of text-only, non-graph, and graph visualizations that display longitudinal PROs.

In what way volume, concentration and dose affect block duration is controversial. The purpose of the present study is to investigate the effect of dose, volume and concentration of mepivacaine on the duration of sensory and motor blockade in ultrasound-guided single shot axillary brachial plexus blockade.

Previous studies have suggested that the gender and/or age of a patient may influence the clinical outcomes of critically ill patients. Our aim was to determine whether there are gender- and age-based differences in clinical outcomes for mechanically ventilated patients in intensive care units (ICUs).

Muscle wasting in critically ill patients is associated with negative clinical outcomes. Ultrasound quadriceps femoris muscle assessment may constitute a convenient tool to evaluate muscle wasting. Nevertheless, its reliability remains uncertain. Our primary aim was to study the intra- and inter-observer reliability of this technique.

This research study examined the role of the Robust Learning Model in achieving student-learning outcomes, regardless of the mode of delivery, e.g., online and on-campus courses. Results from this archival data analysis show that students in undergraduate level courses provided similar and high responses for items that measured learning outcomes whether they learned in the traditional classroom setting or online courses.

The answers to patient reported outcome measures and global transition questions for back pain can be discordant. For example, the most commonly used outcome measure in back pain trials, the Roland Morris Disability Questionnaire (RMDQ), can show improvement even though participants say that their back pain is worse.

Ankle fractures cause considerable pain, loss of function and healthcare resource use. High quality randomised controlled trials are required to evaluate the optimal management protocols for ankle fracture. However, there is debate regarding the most appropriate outcome measure to use when assessing patients with ankle fractures.

Most of the previous studies about the surgical treatment of dropped head syndrome (DHS) are small case series, and their primary outcome measures were cervical alignment parameters. Therefore, little is known about the associations between pre- and postoperative global sagittal alignment in the whole spine and the clinical outcomes of the surgical treatment of DHS.

Prognostic factors in breast cancer are often measured on a continuous scale, but categorized for clinical decision-making. The primary aim of this study was to evaluate if accounting for continuous non-linear effects of the three factors age at diagnosis, tumor size, and number of positive lymph nodes improves prognostication.

The main focus of the study was to determine overall expected outcomes and learning achievements including assess the effectiveness of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) models conducted in the support of Save the Children (SC) Nepal. The expected outcomes were related to children’s school preparedness, learning progresses, promotion, repetition and dropout status. The study was further focused on comparing achievement scores of the students (with and without ECCD exposure) in mathematics and other major subjects.

This work aimed to evaluate the analgesic efficacy of intra-articular injection of magnesium sulphate (4%) compared with equivalent volume of bupivacaine (0.5%) after outpatient knee arthroscopic meniscectomy. Forty patients were randomly assigned to two groups. Group M (n = 20) received intra-articular magnesium sulphate 4%, group B (n = 20) received bupivacaine (0.5%). Analgesic effect was evaluated by analgesic duration, and by measuring pain intensity at 1, 2, 4, 6, 12, 24 h both at rest and on knee movement to 90.

Most nonprofit personnel are clearly dedicated to helping their clients and communities. Outcome management, however, can encourage nonprofit staff (and volunteers) to maintain an explicit, continuous focus on results (outcomes) and program improvement. Outcome measurement is intended to provide an independent and objective assessment of the extent to which clients have been helped and to identify problem areas. To encourage staff to pursue continuous learning and continuous improvement efforts, the following actions might be considered....
