This paper reviews Vietnam’s implementation of fiscal policies in response to climate change. The impact of tax and fee policies on greenhouse gas emission reduction is insignificant. Public spending on climate change adaptation primarily focuses on infrastructure projects to enhance resilience capacity, while the budget for mitigation activities only constitutes a small proportion.

The goal of the study is to determine ASEAN’s economic cooperation process and opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to invest in the ASEAN economic community in the period 1991 to 2020, and a vision to 2025-2030. To determine the investment trends of Vietnamese businesses in the AEC community according to specific fields, statistical and analytical techniques were used to conduct this research. An analysis of the study was presented in a table on the direct investment situation of Vietnamese enterprises to the AEC community according to each specific field in the period 1991 - 2020.

The objective of the study is to assess the impact of FDI on renewable energy use in Vietnam. Research results confirm that FDI projects with low technology and high energy consumption do not have a good impact on the economy in general and the use of renewable energy in particular. The study also confirms that economic growth and the development of financial markets have a very positive impact on renewable energy consumption. Finally, the study also suggests some policy implications for Vietnam in the case of increasing renewable energy use and sustainable development in the future.

This paper aims to identify the economic decision making information for housing development at the initiation phase in Malaysia. Delphi method is implemented in 3 rounds using a questionnaire survey which involved 34 private developers for data collection purposes. The finding shows that authority policies, a market of housing and timing (life cycle of a project) are most necessary information in the economic part.

Along with the rapid development of the construction industry in recent years, high-rise projects have grown in both quantity and scale. However, delays are common in this type of project in developing countries. It causes significant economic damage and has a very serious impact on investor confidence. Following a previous study on factors affecting the delay of construction phase in high-rise building projects, this study will propose solutions to reduce the factors mentioned in the previous study.
