On the basis of theories on preservation and promotion of cultural identities, the dissertation clarified the current situation of preserving and promoting cultural identities of ethnic minorities in the Northeast of Vietnam at present in order to propose the directions and solutions to improve the efficiency of preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic minorities.
