Promotion policies for enterprises

In order for Vietnam to enhance welfare gains from the integration, there has been analysis on impacts for Vietnam. Vietnamese government is expected to support firms with understanding about the EVFTA, market information on quality standards, labour and environmental requirements, building capacity to improve quality and value of exporting products including rice exports.

To explore current export barriers of SMEs in comparing with those faced by state owned enterprises (“SOEs”); to examine support policies and activities such as export promotion activities from the government and professional association for SMEs; to explore solutions or strategies that SMEs (in general and by group such as PSMEs and SOEs) are using to resolve their barriers and the effectiveness of their strategies.

Research purposes: Based on the theoretical research on the impact of the Government’s promotion policies on science and technology activities and the practical effect of some countries in the world and in Vietnam, the thesis draws lessons and proposes some solutions to develop promotion policies for enterprises to invest in science and technology for Vietnam.
