This study describes the synthesis of magnetic nanohydrogels by miniemulsion polymerization technique. Dextran was derivatized by the glycidyl methacrylate to anchor vinyl groups on polysaccharides backbone, allowing its use as a macromonomer for miniemulsion polymerization, as confirmed by proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (13C NMR).

Four metallo (zinc, copper, vanadyl, and indium) phthalocyanine derivatives bearing four aliphatic (hexylthio) groups were prepared from corresponding phthalonitrile compounds. The metallophthalocyanines were characterized with ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR), Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and mass and elemental analyses techniques. Aggregation properties of metallophthalocyanines in solution were studied in varied concentration ranges. Thin films of metallophthalocyanines were obtained by spin coating technique.

The nucleophilic substitution reaction of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene (N3P3Cl6, trimer) (1) with 4- hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde (2) has been investigated for the first time. 4′ -Oxy-1′ -naphthaldehyde substituted mono- (3), bis- (4), and tris- (5) cyclotriphosphazenes were obtained from the nucleophilic substitution of compound 1 with 2 in a 1:2 molar ratio in the presence of Cs2CO3 in acetone at reflux.

: In this study, quantative nuclear magnetic resonance (qNMR) method was used to determine the content of rosuvastatin in tablet. Linearity, range, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ), accuracy, and precision were determined in validation study of rosuvastatin. Furthermore, validation study of rosuvastatin was performed with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Uncertainties of qNMR and HPLC methods were determined using per EURACHEM/CITAC Guide CG 4 (3th edition), quantifying uncertainty in analytical measurement.

A series of Schiff bases (3.a–f) bearing benzimidazole moiety was successfully synthesized in ethanol by refuxing Oct2-ynoic acid (1,3-dihydrobenzimidazole-2-ylidene)amide with substituted amines. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), ultra violet light (UV–VIS), elemental analysis, proton (1 H) and carbon (13C) nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy were used to characterize the newly synthesized Schiff bases.

In this research, a novel organic photocatalyst of 10-(perylene-3-yl-10H-phenoxazine (PHP) has been successfully synthesized from perylene and phenoxazine via Buchwald-Hartwig C-N coupling. The chemical structure of catalyst was determined via FT-IR, proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1 H-NMR) spectrum and optical properties were investigated through UV-Vis spectroscopy. The PHP has been used as the reducing photoredox catalyst for organocatalyzed atom transfer radical polymerrization (O-ATRP) under UV irradiation.

Triblock copolymers were polymerised by the ringopening reaction of D,L-lactide in the presence of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), with number-average molecular weight (Mn ) of 1500 and 2050 g/mol, using Sn(Oct)2 as a catalyst. The influences of the reaction time, the ratio of PEG and Poly(D,L-lactic acid) (PLA), and PEG types on structure and sol-gel phase transition of PLA-PEG-PLA triblock copolymers were investigated. Optimal polymerisation parameters were obtained, such as reaction time of 18 hours, a catalyst amount of 1.3%, and PEG/PLA ratio of 1/1.

The purpose of this study is to synthesize and characterize poly (ethylene glycol) methyl ether (mPEG) conjugated chitosan (CS), mPEG-CS, at different ratios of 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) delivery (5-FU-loaded mPEG-CS). The chemical cross-linking of these polymers were prepared by using 4-Nitrophenyl chloroformate reagent. The obtained mPEG-CS was characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) spectroscopy.

In this study, the synthesis of a telechelic linker bearing both azide and thiol functional groups was described. The reaction conditions were investigated to optimize the reaction yield. The product was analyzed using thin layer chromatography (TLC) and proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1 H NMR).

The typical synthesis procedure for the monomer of N,N-diphenyl-4-vinylaniline was conducted and has been proved to be ineffective in the university laboratory conditions. The modified procedure was applied successfully using freshly formed Wittig reagent. The monomer was characterized by proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) spectroscopy and confirmed the chemical structure with the correct peaks. The photoconductive polymer of poly((4- diphenylamino styrene)) could be obtained only by using the white crystal monomer.
