The experiments were conducted in the Department of Pathology & Microbiology, Sardar Vallabhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, during kharif season 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20. A field study was carried out in Horticulture Research Farm, I.G.K.V. Raipur (C.G.) during rabi season 2007-08.The results indicated that vegetative growth contributing characters (leaf area index , fresh and dry weight per plant were influenced by combination of 100%K and 75% NP along with Azotobacter, Azospirillum and PSB (T8). Yield contributing characters (like number of seed per umbellet, 1000-seed weight (g), total no of seed per plant (g) and seed yield (q/ha) maximum in (T8) were given better performance respectively over all the treatments.

A field experiment was conducted during Rabi season of 2016-2017 at Crop Research Farm, Department of Agronomy, Naini Agricultural Institute, SHUATS, Allahabad, (U.P.), to study the “ Effect of Biofertilizers and Levels of Sulphur on Growth and Yield of Mustard [Brassica juncea (L.) Czern. & Coss]’’. It was consisting of combination of four levels of biofertilizer viz., Azotobacter, Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB) and Azotobacter + Phosphate-Solubilizing bacteria with a control (no seed inoculation), and two levels of sulphur 20 and 40 kg ha-1 with a control.

An investigation was carried out to study the effect of organic manures and bio-inoculants (Azatobacter, Azospirillum, PSB and VAM) on growth, yield and quality of ashwagandha by comparing with RDF at K.R.C.C.H. College of Arabhavi. Effect of FYM, PSB inoculation and phosphorus levels on growth and developmental stages of Blackgram
A field experiment was conducted during Kharif season of 2016 to study the effect of seed inoculation and phosphorus levels on the yield and quality of blackgram at the Research Farm of Research Sub Station (Berthin), Bilaspur. The experiment was laid out in a Factorial Randomized Block Design (FRBD) with three replications and total sixteen treatment combinations consisting of two levels of FYM viz., control and 10 t/ha, two levels of PSB viz., no inoculation and with inoculation and four levels of phosphorus viz., control, 20, 30 and 40 kg P2O5/ha.

Field experiment was conducted during rabi-2018 at Research Institute of Organic Farming field unit, UAS, GKVK, Bengaluru to study the different sources of organic phosphorus and PSB on growth, seed yield and essential oil content in coriander laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with 10 treatments replicated thrice and the variety used was Co Cr-4. Results of the experiment revealed that phosphorus at 40 kg ha-1 applied through neem cake + PSB at 2 kg ha-1 recorded significantly higher seed yield (665 kg ha-1 ) and essential oil yield (4.72 kg ha-1 ).

A field experiment was conducted during Rabi season of 2018 in Departmental Research Field of Department of Horticulture, SHUATS, Prayagraj on heading type of Chinese cabbage (Brassica rapa ssp. A pot culture experiment was carried out at Department of Agricultural Microbiology, College of Agriculture Bhimarayanagudi, University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur during 2017 to study the effect of pink pigmented facultative Methylotrophs on growth and yield of direct seeded rice. All the PPFM isolates were tested for a selective biochemical tests. All the isolates showed positive results for Oxidase test, Urease test, and Indole production. None of the isolates showed positive results for casein hydrolysis, MR and VP test, nitrate reduction test.

A two year field experiment on Growth behavior of Pigeonpea [Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp.] in Pigeonpea Based Cropping System in response to Integrated Nutrient Management Practices in Tarai region of Uttarakhand was conducted at Norman E. Borlaug Crop Research Centre, GBPUA&T, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. Analysis of the two years average data indicated that Pigeonpea + Urd cropping system resulted in Maximum dry matter accumulation (g/plant), Crop growth rate (g/day), Relative growth rate (g/g/day) biological yield and yield of pigeonpea as compared to rest of the cropping system.
