PVP concentration

In the present study, we have made an attempt to prepare complexed PVA-PVP-KNO3-BaTiO3 blend composite polymer electrolyte membranes composed of potassium nitrate (KNO3) as salt and BaTiO3 of various concentrations as filler and studied their properties. The advantages of addition the fillers are the increase in ionic conductivity at room temperatures and the improvement of the stability at the interface with electrodes.

The maximum ionic conductivity of 5.39 108 Scm1 at 303 K was observed for the 5 mol VO2 ions doped PVP polymer electrolyte film. From the UV-Visible absorption spectra in the wavelength range of 200-800 nm the direct and indirect optical energy band gaps and optical absorption edges were found decreased with the increase in the VO2 ion concentration.

Cu2O nanoparticles were successfully synthesized using bipolar electrolytic method from an electrolyte solution containing Cu(CH3COO)2.H2O (99.99%; Sigma Aldrich) and PVP (99.999%; Sigma Aldrich) with different ratios. The effect of PVP concentration on the properties of samples was investigated.
