The objective of the thesis: Mining association rules with time-interval between events in temporal quantitative databases called fuzzy time-interval association rules; mining sequential patterns with time-interval between events in temporal quantitative sequential databases called fuzzy sequential patterns with fuzzy time intervals; mining common sequential rules with time-interval between events in temporal quantitative sequential databases called fuzzy common sequential rules with fuzzy time intervals.

This article is about quantification semantics of linguistic terms embedded in Complete Linear Hedge Algebras and a application in querying in the database having the linguistic terms. The calculation is done both to the language values and real numbers. Query results are quite reasonable.

The study applies quantitative method on non-balanced panel samples of Vietnamese listed firms which are extracted from the Thomson Reuters database and manually collected from companies’ annual reports. All the regressions are estimated by Generalized Least Squared (GLS) method to fix the heteroscedasticity problem and robusted by Generalized Method of Moment (GMM) for endogeneitity potential.

A database consisting of 23 tripeptides was used to study the quantitative relationships between electric surface potential descriptors and antioxidant activity QESARs. The important structural descriptors SaaNH_acnt, SsOH_acnt, SaaN, SaaN_acnt, SsssCH, SaaaC, SsNH3p, SdO, SdO_acnt were selected for constructing the linear models QESARs with genetic algorithm. The best 4-variable linear model QESARlinear including the structural descriptors SaaN, SdO, SdO_acnt and SsOH_acnt was constructed. The quality QESARlinear was exhibited in statistical values R2 fitness of 97.

With this structure, the calculation of the intersection of tidsets between two itemsets becomes more convenient. Based on this structure, the authors define the MBiS-Tree structure and propose an algorithm for mining FWUIs from quantitative databases. Experimental results for a number of databases show that the proposed method outperforms existing methods.
