The particle identification (PID) method based on TOF-Bρ-ΔE measurement at RIKEN are discussed, and its application for Z = 25 – 28 neutron-rich nuclei from SEASTAR (Shell Evolution And Search for Two-plus energy At RIBF) experimental data are presented.

The production of the exotic neutron-rich ion beams from photofission of the actinide targets in an IGISOL facility will be studied via an experimental program that will take place at the Extreme Light Infrastructure - Nuclear Physics (ELI-NP) facility. Geant4 simulation toolkit was used for optimizing the target configuration in order to maximize the rate of released photofission fragments from targets placed in a cell filled with He gas.

This paper presents a Monte-Carlo code to simulate the time sequences of the β-decay following implantation of a continuous radioactive ion beam into a segmented silicon detector. We extended our simulation to the β-delayed neutron process. An analysis procedure, which has been developed to obtain simultaneously the β-decay half-life and the β-delayed multi-neutron emission probability, was verified by the simulation data.
