Paucity and low evidence-level data on proton therapy (PT) represent one of the main issues for the establishment of solid indications in the PT setting. Aim of the present registry, the POWER registry, is to provide a tool for systematic, prospective, harmonized, and multidimensional high-quality data collection to promote knowledge in the field of PT with a particular focus on the use of hypofractionation.

The microvessels area (MVA), derived from microvascular proliferation, is a biomarker useful for highgrade glioma classifcation. Nevertheless, its measurement is costly, labor-intense, and invasive. Finding radiologic cor‑ relations with MVA could provide a complementary non-invasive approach without an extra cost and labor intensity and from the first stage.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the leading causes of cancer death in the world owing to limitations in its prognosis. The current prognosis approaches include radiological examination and detection of serum biomarkers, however, both have limited efficiency and are ineffective in early prognosis.

Angiogenesis assessment is important for personalized therapeutic intervention in patients with nonsmall-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This study investigated whether radiologic parameters obtained by dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE)-integrated magnetic resonance-positron emission tomography (MR-PET) could be used to quantitatively assess tumor angiogenesis in NSCLC.

Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer deaths across the world. Early detection of lung cancer by low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) can reduce the mortality rate. However, making a definitive preoperative diagnosis of malignant pulmonary nodules (PNs) found by LDCT is a clinical challenge.

Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) was first described possibly at the end of the XVII century by Buckley (1931) and Connor, but it was only recognized after the radiologic descriptions of Bechterew, Strumpell and Marie, during the XIX century. In 1964 the American Rheumatism Association classified AS as a distinct disease. About forty years ago (1973), Schlosstein and Brewerton published simultaneously but independently the association of AS with the Class I allele B*27.
