Results show that, according to the linear regression analysis, regional annual rainfall is not much fluctuated, the rainy season and annual rainfall tend to decrease, while rainfall in the dry season tends to increase. According to Sen’s slope chart, July rain gains highest increasement, while that of August tends to decrease most. In general, the precipitation concentration index revealed the presence of a high and very high concentration of rainfall.

The present study was carried out in Krishi Vigyan Kendra Badgaon Balaghat under Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Jabalpur. The time trend analysis area, production, and productivity of gram showed that the area under gram was positively and significantly increasing in black soil of Balaghat, (R = 0.73**), production (R = 73**) and productivity (R = 0. 81***) respectively in district having better moisture content. The growth rate of area, production, and productivity in the first decade (1997-98) and second decade (2007-08 to 2016-17) was positive in districts.

In year 2019 may be sais as an unique year which registered rainfall of 2313 mm. Weather parameter trends of Jagdalpur (19.0854° N Latitude, 82.0183° E Longitude, elevation 552 m mean sea level) is analysed by MS – excel software package. Analysis of weather parameters viz. maximum and minimum temperature, rainfall, rainy days and relative humidity was done from 1980 to 2018 (39 years) and 2019.

The daily weather data of 20 years were collected from the IMD Bapatla. Using daily rainfall, relative humidity, maximum temperature and minimum temperature data of twenty years from 1991-2010 were analysed. The data were also analysed to find out the standard deviation and coefficient of variation during period of study.

The aim of the present study is to analysis rainfall time series, detecting potential trends and assessing their significance. The present study shows the increase in southwest monsoon rainfall and decline in post monsoon rainfall for all the districts of south Gujarat. Similarly annual rainfall Navsari and Bharuch districts reveals decline, but at Dang, Valsad and Surat acknowledges increasing rainfall pattern on most of decades.

The study area is a macrowatershed of river Kelo, a tributary of Mahanadi River. In this paper, the results show that as the use of number of influencing variables increases, the accuracy increases. ANN technique gives accurate results in a very short period of time which makes the feasibility of this method. The results showed that the accuracy ranges from 93 to 98 percent with the different number of variables.

A study was conducted at tea growing regions of Assam to see the effect of climatic parameter on production of tea. Average production of tea started to diminish from 1992 and the trend had continued upto 2009. However, after 2010 the average production of tea started to increase. Results of correlation and regression analysis showed that except ‘number of rainy days’ other four variables (Temperature Range, Relative Humidity Range, Rainfall and Bright Sun Shine hours) are found to be significant.

The present study is mainly concerned with the changing trend of rainfall in a district of Odisha. We have given an effort to analyse one of the most important climatic variable, i.e., precipitation, for analysing the rainfall trend in the area. Daily rainfall data of 102 years from 1901 to 2002 has been processed in the study to find out the monthly variability of rainfall for which the Mann-Kendall (MK) test has been used together with the Sen‟s Slope Estimator for the determination of trend and slope magnitude.

The present study intended to determine potential trends in monthly, seasonal and annual rainfall in the Brahmaputra valley of Assam during 1986-2015, based on observed daily rainfall data from 10 locations. The magnitude of the trends was estimated using TheilSen’s slope method, while statistical significance of the trends was tested using MannKendall rank statistics. Analysis revealed that mean annual rainfall varied from 1653.5 mm in Golaghat to 3676.9 mm in Gossaigaon, with variability in order of 13-32 per cent at different locations.

Drought is universally acknowledged as a phenomenon associated with scarcity of water. The Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) expresses the actual rainfall as standardized departure from rainfall probability distribution function. In this study severity and spatial pattern of meteorological drought was analyzed in the Anantapuramu District, Andhra Pradesh, India using multi-temporal SPI.

Present investigation was conducted at Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni (HP) to study the effect of changing climatic conditions on seed yield of onion (Allium cepa L.) in mid hills of Himachal Pradesh. The meteorological data (30 years) and onion seed yield data (26 years) were collected; correlation and regression analysis between various weather parameters (temperature, rainfall and relative humidity) and onion seed productivity was done for productivity trend analysis.

Long term rainfall trend analysis of different time series in Solapur district of Maharashtra, India
The long term behaviour of rainfall is necessary to study over space with different time series viz. annual, seasonal, monthly and weekly as it is one of the most significant climatic variable. Rainfall trend is an important tool which assesses the impact of climate change and provides direction to cope up with its adverse effects on the agriculture.

The daily rainfall data of 21 years were collected from the IMD approved Meteorological Observatory situated at Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Pundibari, Cooch Behar, India. The data were then processed to identify the maximum rainfall received on any one day (24 hrs duration), in any week (7 days), in a month (4 weeks), in a monsoon season (4 months) and in a year (365 days period). The data showed that the annual daily maximum rainfall received at any time ranged between 134.5 (minimum) to 694.6 mm (Maximum) indicating a very large range of fluctuation during the period of study.

The climatic parameters such as Rainfall, mean daily temperature, Wind Speed, relative humidity are spatial and changing with time space and position. That directly affects the availability of basic resources such as surface runoff, vegetation, soil health and quality needed for betterment of sustainability of human being. The predicting the surface runoff is complex and uncertain. It depended of these climatic parameters. Hence, their behaviour needed to be understood before putting in the hydrologic model.

Climate change and its influence on rainfall, accounts important for agricultural production. All farm activities are indeed focused based on the rainfall amount and its distribution over the cropping season. The trend analysis on Northeast monsoon rainfall amount and distribution of the rainfall in number of rainy days was conducted for Pudukkottai district to understand climatological performance of rainfall.

No doubt the climatic aberrations will severely set back agricultural development in most of the tropical countries particularly India, where an increasing share of the poorest and most vulnerable population resides. Zonal Agricultural Research Station is located at Mandya district of Karnataka lies under agro-climatic zone 6 (Southern dry zone) having longitude of 76° 49.8' E and latitude of 12°34.3' N with 697 meters above mean sea level.

Monthly rainfall data given by surface meteorological observations during the period 1961-2007 in Central Vietnam is used to calculate drought indices. Results show that drought conditions slightly increase in North Central Vietnam but decrease in South Central and Highland Central Vietnam. Significant drought periods often occur from January to March. The percentage of dry years during the period 1961-2007 is larger than that in the reference period of 1961-1990 in North Central while smaller in South Central and almost similar to that in Highland Central Vietnam.

Beside the effect of gravitational forces, the water level in Sai Gon-Dong Nai River System is also affected by non gravitational forces such a wind, air pressure, rainfall and sea level rise. The purpose of this paper is to simulate the water level of these river based on the tidal and non-tidal constituents, from that assess the role of non-tidal constituents to water variation. In this study, the none-tidal data used includes the wind field at surface, sea level pressure and the rainfall in Sai Gon- Dong Nai Basin. With the analyzed data series from 1980 to 2007, the results...
