  • The study the drought pattern during pre and post global warming behind for different districts of Chhattisgarh the drought pattern in the back drop of climate change due to global warming was examined. It is very clear from the analysis that the number drought years in a 40 years period had drastically increased during post global warming period (1971-2010) as compared to pre global warming period. This a clear evidence of the impact of regional climate changes due to global warming on the rainfall pattern in all the districts of Chhattisgarh state.

  • Agro-climatic characterization for Agro-climatic zone of Chhattisgarh was carried out in the Department of Agricultural Meteorology, I.G.K.V. Raipur to capture the agricultural and climatic features which in turn help for sustainable agriculture development in Chhattisgarh. A detailed study was carried out for Chhattisgarh state by considering the district wise rainfall for the period 1901-2010. When the rainfall was examined it was found that the rainfall was in decreasing trend in all the districts during the post- global warming period.

  • The present research investigation was undertaken to work out the rainfall variability analysis of western districts of Rajasthan. The coefficient of variation and standard deviation for weekly, monthly and annual rainfall were computed for all the districts. The normal onset of monsoon over different western districts of Rajasthan is between June to October. It was found that the annual rainfall is higher at Sikar district followed by Jalor and Pali. The mean annual rainfall is lowest at Jaisalmer.

  • Present study examines the effect of climatic factor e.g. Temperature (Maximum and Minimum), Relative humidity (Morning and Evening), Evaporation and Rainfall variation on the yield of different stages of wheat in Samastipur district of Bihar by using Box plot method. The data of wheat yield of 29 Years (1984-2013) was taken from Department of Agricultural Economics, RAU, Pusa and Weather Variables (1984-2013) was taken from Agro-metrology Unit, RAU, Pusa. Box plot will used to estimate the effect of climate variables on the stages of wheat yield.

  • The study examined the performance of six regional climate experiments conducted under the framework of the Southeast Asia Regional Climate Downscaling/Coordinated Regional Climate Downscaling Experiment-Southeast Asia (SEACLID/CORDEX-SEA) project and their ensemble product (ENS) in simulating temperature at 2 m (T2m) and rainfall (R) in seven climatic sub-regions of Vietnam.
