The importance of inflammatory and metabolic parameters affecting progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) has been investigated more intensively recently. We aimed to investigate the effect of glucose/c-reactive protein (CRP) ratio [GCR], which shows these two parameters together, on PFS in cervical cancer.

In this study, nano BiFeO3 powders were successfully synthesized by co-precipitation method which dissolved PVA in water with Bi/Fe/PVA = 1/1/3 molar ratio, at pH = 12. Research results showed that BiFeO3 nano powders have been formed at a temperature of 110ºC after 4 hours of drying.

In this study, coal samples are synthesized from durian peel (the outer protective layer of durian fruit) by drying, mincing, and putting into a sieve with a fine mesh of 1-2 micrometers. Coal samples are activated by 2M NaOH solution with 1:20 (w/v) ratio for 2 hours and then heated at 700 degrees Celsius for 1 hour to create activated carbon. After preparation, samples are analyzed using advanced analytic technology such as FTIR spectroscopy and SEM.

The mechanism of dye-adsorbent interaction is described on the basis of zero-point charge and zeta potential techniques. Batch adsorption studies on MCH NM show excellent adsorption activity of 199.02 mg/g in 22 min towards RB13 dye, maximum value ever reported for any reactive dye. Equilibrium adsorption data and adsorption kinetics were well fitted into Langmuir isotherm model and pseudo second order model predicting chemically rate controlled monolayer adsorption.

Boron methacrylate (BAc) monomer was synthesized via an esterification reaction. Boric acid, neopentyl glycol, and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) were reacted to obtain boron-containing acrylic monomer. Characterization was achieved by FT-IR, 13 C NMR, 1 H NMR, and 11 B NMR and the results for the synthesized monomer were compared to those for HEMA. Homopolymer and copolymers with styrene (St) were synthesized via free radical polymerization. The properties of the synthesized styrene copolymers were investigated using several techniques.

Photopolymerization kinetics of doxycycline hyclate (DOX)-imprinted hydrogels were monitored by real-time Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and differential photocalorimetry. 2-Hydroxyethyl methacrylate-based hydrogels were synthesized by using ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as a cross-linker, acrylic acid (AA) as a functional monomer, and 2,2-dimethyl-2-hydroxy acetophenone as a photoinitiator. For imprinting DOX in hydrogels, the molar ratio of template to functional monomer (DOX:AA) was chosen as 1:8 and 1:16. The polymerization was achieved at two different initiator concentrations.

The ability of oxime-containing acetylcholinesterase reactivators BT-07 (K005), BT-08 (K033), BT-07-4M (K074), and obidoxime (H2LX2, X = Cl−, Br−) to bind palladium(II) or platinum(II) cations was evaluated in aqueous solutions (pH 7.4) at metal-to-ligand molar ratio varying from 1:10 to 10:1. Spectral changes were monitored within a week after mixing the reagents in the range from 220 nm to 500 nm. Results showed that depending on chemical structure and reaction time, oximes form two complex species of composition, [MHL]3+ or [M2L]4+ (M = Pd(II), Pt(II)).

Zeolite Cs-ABW nanocatalyst has been hydrothermally synthesized without using any harmful organic template. The zeolite nanocrystal with very high solid yield (81.88%) can be obtained within 60 min and at 180°C (~20 atm), conditions that are much faster and gentler than the existing synthesis methods. The orthorhombic Cs-ABW nanocrystals (mean size of 32 nm) have high aluminum content (Si/Al ratio = 1.14) and possess high basicity.

This study involves the quantitative analysis of high free fatty acid crude palm oil, the separation of palmitic acid and synthesis of palm palmitic acid-based bioplastic. Synthesis of dimethyl 2-tetradecylmalonate (DMTDM) using methyl palmitate (MP) with sodium hydride (NaH) in the presence of reactive solvent of dimethyl carbonate (DMC) was carried out. The reaction conditions comprise at a mole ratio of MP: DMC: NaH: dimethylformamide (DMF) (0.1:2:0.25:1) at 60°C for 14 h with 88.3 ± 1.4% yield. FTIR spectra of DMTDM showed the ester carbonyl group at 1740 cm–1.

In this paper, we propose a novel method to estimate and remove the jamming signals from multiple multi-antenna jammers in a two-way relay network with multi-antenna legitimate and relay nodes.
