Hypoproliferative anemia is a frequently encountered adverse event in cancer patients receiving immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI). Secondary pure red cell aplasia (PRCA) is a rare but recognized immune-related adverse event. With the burgeoning use of ICIs, the association of secondary PRCA with an underlying lymphoproliferative disorder is often overlooked.

"Standard Practice for Cleaning, Descaling, and Passivation of Stainless Steel Parts, Equipment, and Systems" covers recommendations and precautions for cleaning, descaling, and passivating of new stainless steel parts, assemblies, equipment, and installed systems. These recommendations are presented as procedures for guidance when it is recognized that for a particular service it is desired to remove surface contaminants that may impair the normal corrosion resistance, or result in the later contamination of the particular stainless steel grade, or cause product contamination.

Toll-like receptors play a key role in innate immunity by recognizing pathogens and activating appropriate responses. Pathogens express several signal molecules (pathogen-associated molecular patterns, PAMPs) essential for survival and pathogenicity. Recognition of PAMPs triggers an array of anti-microbial immune responses through the induction of various inflammatory cytokines.

Adipose tissue is recognized as a highly active metabolic and endocrine organ. The hormones secreted by this tissue play an important role in many biochemical processes. It is known that dysfunction of adipocytes can cause insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes or hyperlipidemia.

Marek’s disease (MD) is a highly neoplastic disease primarily affecting chickens, and remains as a chronic infectious disease that threatens the poultry industry. Copy number variation (CNV) has been examined in many species and is recognized as a major source of genetic variation that directly contributes to phenotypic variation such as resistance to infectious diseases.

A review of current knowledge and gaps about campylobacter methods: From culture to characterization
The frequency of these microorganisms in poultry is fairly high than Salmonella and more challenging to measure, which represent an expensive burden charge on public health due to their difficulties to master them, especially with the fast increase rates of multidrug-resistant of thermophilic Campylobacter strains. It is well recognized that Campylobacter spp. is a fastidious cell, difficult to isolate in laboratories owing to their requirements and sensibility.

Minoxidil (2,4-diamino-6-piperidinopyrimidine 3-oxide) was primarily recognized as a drug for reducing vascular resistance to blood flow. It was later introduced as a more important medicine for topical stimulation of hair growth and baldness reverting as well as treatment of androgenic alopecia through increasing prostaglandin endoperoxide synthesis.

Neoplastic transformation of germinal center B (GCB) cells may give rise to a variety of different B cell lymphoma subtypes, most of which show substantial heterogeneity in terms of genetic alterations and clinical features. The mutations observed in cancerrelated genes in GCB cells are related to abnormalities in the immunogenetic mechanisms associated with germinal center reaction. Recent studies have rapidly identified genomic alterations in B cell lymphomas that may be useful for better subclassification, noninvasive diagnosis, and prediction of response to therapy.

Maize is one of the most important staple crops and is widely grown throughout the world. Stalk lodging can cause enormous yield losses in maize production. However, rind penetrometer resistance (RPR), which is recognized as a reliable measurement to evaluate stalk strength, has been shown to be efficient and useful for improving stalk lodging-resistance.

Pancreatic cancer is recognized as one of the most fatal tumors due to its aggressiveness and resistance to therapy. Statins were previously shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells via various signaling pathways. In healthy tissues, statins activate the heme oxygenase pathway, nevertheless the role of heme oxygenase in pancreatic cancer is still controversial.

Maize is one of the most important cereal crops with a wide adaptability under varied environmental conditions. Universally, maize is recognized as “queen of cereals” because of its immense genetic yield potential compared to other cereals but due to Fusarium stalk rot, yield loss goes up to 42 per cent. To identify a resistant source in maize for Fusarium stalk rot fifty maize inbred lines were screened. Fourteen inbred lines viz.

Microbiological infection plays vital role in determining the outcome as well as cost and duration of the hospital stay for patients admitted in ICU setup. Of late nosocomial infections especially ventilator associated pneumonias (VAP) have been recognized to be associated with significant morbidity and mortality in intubated patients. It is of critical importance to do regular surveillance of important pathogen (like Methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), extended spectrum beta lactamase (ESBL) and carbapenemase producers) and its resistance pattern.

ATP-binding cassette proteins have been recognized as playing a crucial role in the regulation of growth and resistance processes in all kingdoms of life. They have been deeply studied in vertebrates because of their role in drug resistance, but much less is known about ABC superfamily functions in plants.

During tomato cultivation, tomato leaf mould is a common disease caused by Cladosporium fulvum (C. fulvum). By encoding Cf proteins, which can recognize corresponding AVR proteins produced by C. fulvum, Cf genes provide resistance to C. fulvum, and the resistance response patterns mediated by different Cf genes are not identical.

This study aimed to assess the antibiotic susceptibility of Lactobacillus strains of goat milk origin. Lactobacilli are generally recognized as safe, but can act as reservoir for genes carrying antibiotic resistance traits; which can further spread to commensal, food spoilage or pathogenic organisms. Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) strains coming from animal sources had significant interaction with antibiotics. Goat milk, being second to cow milk in production and due to its close resemblance to human milk composition, is among favorable source for isolating potential probiotic LAB strains.

India, third richest biodiversity countries in the Asia, and it is home to huge indigenous cattle genetic resources. India having 190.9 million cattle population with 43 register native indigenous cattle breeds, in addition to this large number of non-descript cattle population available throughout country. This indigenous cattle breeds are especially more adapted to different agro-climatic conditions of India and some of indigenous cattle breeds were performing excellent in other country throughout world.

Health care providers lacking proper diagnostic tools are usually unable to determine specific etiologies, often diagnosing patients with acute undifferentiated febrile illness (AUFI) presumptively based on clinical features and assumptions regarding circulating pathogens. Acute fever can be potentially fatal if the etiology is not recognized and treated appropriately. A cross-sectional study was conducted in a tertiary care hospital, Bengaluru, from July-December 2018. Blood was collected from patients with acute fever for peripheral smear, serological tests.
