The field experiment was conducted at Central Research Farm of Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar during summer 2014-15 and kharif- 2015 to study the effect of weather parameters on population dynamics of paddy pests with twelve treatments and four replications in sub plot size of 15m x 10m taking Lalat and Swarna as test cultivar during summer 2014-15 and kharif -2015 following the recommended package of practices.

An experiment was conducted for three consecutive years from 2016 to 2018 during Rabi season at Horticulture Research and Extension Center, Hassan, Karnataka. A study was conducted by using Complete Block Design with four replications under storage. For PTM management studies, Kufri Jyoti tubers were planted at 60 cm X 20 cm spacing with soil application of recommended dose of fertilizers (75:75:100 kg NPK/ha) and FYM (25 t/ha) during Kharif season as per package of practices.

Rapeseed is grown in irrigated and non-irrigated condition as a rain fed crop. Production of rapeseed is also limited owing to non adoption of recommended agronomic which reduce the yield to a greater extent. The present study was carried out in 23 villages of Banda district of Bundelkhand, Uttar Pradesh, to know the impact and yield gaps between improved package of practices (IP) under Front Line Demonstration (FLD) and existing farmer’s practice (FP) of mustard crops.

Millet has emerged as one of the most suitable alternative to minor millet and minor pulses in Bastar plateau zone of Bastar district at Chhattisgarh. However, the productivity of small millet in the Bastar plateau zone is very low. One of the major constraints of traditional millet farming is low productivity due to lack of recommended package of practices and high yielding varieties. To replace this inconsistency of practices, SG College of Agriculture and Research under AICRPSM, Jagdalpur conducted experiments in the farmer’s field.

The seed spices constitute an important group of agricultural commodities, playing an important role in our national economy. During 2012-13 share of seed spices in India‟s spice area and production is 7.02% and 11.82% respectively. This study was conducted during the year 2016-17. A total of 28 farmers from different categories were selected purposively from Pana (Bayana) villages of Bharatpur district of Rajasthan for conducting Front Line Demonstrations (FLDs) on their field on fennel crop.

The research study was conducted in Agricultural Zone Bandipora of Jammu and Kashmir state of India. In this research, the adoption of recommended package of practices of rice cultivation by growers were studied. Majority of the growers had adopted nonrecommended variety for sowing. Majority of the growers had adopted less than recommended spacing for transplanting seedlings and do not adopt any seed treatment. Majority of the growers had adopted recommended number of ploughings.

Five villages were selected purposively on the basis of maximum chilli growers present in these five villages. From these five villages respondents were selected by using proportionate allocation method for the study.

The Cluster Front Line Demonstration (CFLD) programme on sesame was carried out in operational area of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Samastipur during 2018-19. The fields were selected from different villages/clusters (each of 0.2-0.4 ha) of the district. The variety „Krishna‟ was sown at all the located fields. Cashew is known as ‘maintenance free’ crop and the recommended package of practices are not followed and this leads to low yield. The study is based on secondary data and analyzed by using standard statistical tools like arithmetic mean and coefficient of variation, compound growth rates and graphical representations to draw the overview of trends in area, production and productivity of cashew in India. A field experiment comprising recommended package of practices (RPP), RPP + soil (2.5 and 5.0 kg ha-1 at 10 DAS), foliar (0.5 and 1.25 % at 45 DAS) application of solubor and combination of both soil and foliar application was conducted during kharif 2017 at the MARS, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka to study the boron nutrition effect on growth, nodulation, yield attributes and yield of soybean in boron deficient Vertisol. The study was taken up with the main objective of identifying and analyzing the adoption of package of practices by the Chilli farmers as recommended by the scientists of ANGRAU. It was conducted in 2013 with a sample of Sixty (60) tenant farmers in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. An experiment was carried out at ICR farm, Department of Horticulture during 2015-2017 to study the effect of number of suckers per hill on growth, yield and quality of banana cv. Malbhog (AAB) in ratoon crop. The treatments were T1 (mother plant + 1 sucker), T2 (mother plant + 2 suckers), T3 (mother plant + 3 suckers), and T4 (mother plant + 4 suckers) with two spacing - S1 (2.1 m x 2.1 m) and S2 (2.5 m x 2.5 m) for all the treatments. One treatment with recommended package of practices (control) was also included in the experiment.

Wheat {Triticum aestivam L.} is one of the important cereals Rabi crop grown in all over the Rajasthan. The low productivity of wheat crop is due to poor adoption of improved technologies of wheat by the farmers. Hence, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nohar, Hanumangarh-II (Rajasthan) has organized frontline demonstrations with improved variety along with recommended package of practices during Rabi 2012-13 to 2014-15 (three consecutive years) at farmer’s field of different villages in area of 18 hectare on 45 locations (farmers).

Investigation was undertaken during 2015-2016 and 2016-2017on farmer’s field to study the bio-efficacy of newer insecticides against Plutella xylostella L. infesting cabbage. The cabbage crop (var. Saint) was raised by following recommended package of practices except for plant protection measures. Treatments included of six newer insecticides along with two conventional insecticides and one synthetic pyrethroid. Results revealed that all the insecticidal treatments were significantly superior over untreated control by recording lower larval population.
