Relative contributions of mobile

This paper aims to empirically investigate key adoption determinants that contribute to the relative slow uptake of mobile payment service in the U.S. market. The study aims to examine the key facilitators and hindrances in the mobile payment adoption process from the consumer perspective.

In this study, the potential mobility of phosphorus (P) in sediment from Can Gio was investigated. Three single extractions were applied including a mild salt (NH4 Cl), an acid (HCl), and a base (NaOH) each representing different environmental factors during sediment resuspension. Other geochemical parameters were also determined. The total amount of P in the sediments varied from 320.41 mg/kg to 668.22 mg/kg in five sampling sites.

The decline in the economy, particularly in the second half of 2008, likely contributed to smaller gains in participants relative to previous years and a number of programs reported losses in the total number of participants. Perhaps surprisingly, nonresidential participant growth was on par with 2007; while the reason for this increase is unclear, one possible explanation could be heightened interest in renewable energy issues in an election year in which renewables and climate change were a focus.

Some organizations are deliberately using mobile money to enhance their traditional offerings. For example, during a recent drought in Niger, a set of randomly selected house- holds received cash transfers via mobile money (Aker et al. 2011). In comparison with physical cash, this trial found lower variable costs for senders, as well as lower costs for recipients. Over the course of the crisis, recipient households also enjoyed better diets and depleted fewer assets. Insurance, credit, and savings services are now being developed atop mature mobile money systems.

First, the networks resulting from the prevailing ties of labour migration have contributed signif icantly to the integration of countries into the global economy. This point is important in various sectors, including investment, trade, tourism and unilateral transfers. For example, the mobilization of migrant and their relatives’ savings and investments at home, in the acquisition of land, property, or small businesses, are spurring economic growth in areas traditionally neglected by the private and public sectors.
