Relative growth rate

The paper presents a model for determining the significance of relations with the insurance company’s shareholders. The first hypothesis concerns the possibility to describe the relative importance of the resource supplied by each stakeholder, and its place in the ranked series. At the same time, the authors propose such a series both for a developing regional company and for a developed federal insurer. Such a series should correspond to the ranked series of growth rates of payment for each resource acquired from the corresponding stakeholder.

The treatments consisted of two sowing methods (broadcasting and drilling at 30 cm inter-row spacing) and three nitrogen rates (0, 30 and 60 kg N). The experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design with three replications. The results obtained showed that plant dry matter was significantly higher in the drilling method of sowing at 6 and 12 weeks after sowing (WAS) and the lowest plant dry matter was recorded in broadcasting in both years of studies.

To meet the said demand pigeon pea productivity has to be increased. There is a need for judicious management of available water and plant nutrients through different fertilizers to increase the productivity and to reduce the production costs of pigeonpea.

A study was conducted to estimate the pre- and post-weaning relative growth rates (RGR) in Sirohi goats born during 2005 to 2017 under field conditions. The overall least-squares mean for pre-weaning (0-3M) and post weaning (3-12M) relative growth rate were 1.79±0.02 and 0.263±0.005 percent per day, respectively.

An experiment was conducted in rabi season during 2012-2013 and 2013- 2014 to find out the effect of cereal crops (Wheat, Oat, Barley) and cutting schedule on forage and grain yield. The study revealed the maximum chlorophyll accumulation in Barley and wheat during initial stage at 95 DAS and wheat and barley during reproductive stage at 30 DAS. Cutting at 50 DAS is proved beneficial on chlorophyll accumulation. Photosynthetic rate were maximum in wheat at 90 DAS.

A study was conducted to investigate the effect of drought on physiological characteristics in twelve sunflower genotypes. Moisture stress treatment were imposed at flower bud initiation stage (irrigation withheld from 40 DAS to 60 DAS) whereas, Control plots were irrigated at 10 days intervals throughout the crop growth period. Results revealed that water stress showed repressing effect on Relative water content, Photosynthetic rate, leaf fluorescence, membrane leakage, chlorophyll content and specific leaf area in all the genotypes examined.

An experiment was carried out during rabi 2015-16 to evaluate growth and yield of chickpea under different sowing dates and weed control measure. The field experiment was conducted at Agronomy Research Farm of SKUAST-K during Kharif season 2014 and 2015. Three N levels (N1: 120, N2: 150, N3: 180 kg/ha) and four Si applications (Si0: Control, Si1: 5%, Si2: 10% and Si3:15%) were applied to the rice crop. Number of tillers m-2 and relative growth rate were significantly highest with 180kgN ha-1 from 30-45DAT but from 60DAT upto harvest, these growth parameters were significantly highest with 120kgN ha-1 . The seed cluster bean exhibited significant variations in growth indices like absolute growth rate, crop growth rate and relative growth rate. The highest absolute growth rate, crop growth rate and relative growth rate was recorded by HG 365. This paper analyses the growth rates and instability indices of major pulses in Andhra Pradesh. Decomposition analysis was carried out to measure the relative contribution of area and yield to the growth in total production of major pulses. The study period has been divided into two sub periods for the purpose of analysis of growth rates and decomposition analysis viz., 1995-96 to 2005-2006 and 2005-06 to 2015-16. Growth rate analysis showed that both the production and yield of major pulse crops were positive whereas the area was positive except for green gram and black gram.

A study was carried out at S. V. Agricultural College, Tirupati to know the effect of foliar application of amino acids, micronutrients and growth promoting substances on growth parameters and yield of blackgram.
