Indian Farming system comprising multi-faceted dependence of nature, constraints are inevitable, Constraints in the system of agriculture are natural, which requires utmost care, caution and prevention. An understanding of these constraints will pave way in decision making by every farmer for the prospects and policy maker for further development. Hence an attempt is made to analyse the constraints of Integrated farming system (IFS) in select Agro-Climatic Zones of Karnataka State.

The present investigation was undertaken with view to study cost and returns in rain-fed maize farmers of tribal area of Central Gujarat. Multistage stratified sampling method was adopted for sample design. A sample of 240 maize farmers were selected from 12 selected villages of six selected talukas of three tribal districts. Techniques such as, percentage and ratios, mean, standard deviation and t-test were employed. Standard farm management cost and returns concepts were used to estimate various costs and returns.

The present study was conducted in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh in the year of 2018-19. Out of 43 mandals, only 5 mandals was purposely selected. From these mandals 12 villages were randomly selected, from these villages 8 vegetables growers were selected from each village by simple random sampling method. Thus the total numbers of 96 vegetables growers were selected. Average productivity of vegetables crop in Nellore is very low (98.72 q. /ha.) and far from the national average yield of 17 mT./ha.

Tomato grown during the main season (winter) causes a glut of produce in the market and its sale price is also very low. But the crop grown in rainy season has a better demand and is much remunerative for the farmer. Therefore, the present experiment was undertaken to develop and identify tomato hybrids well adapted to the rainy season. The experiment was conducted at the All India Co-ordinated Research Project on Vegetable Crops, Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar.

Currently sugarcane crop yields are low and its area under cultivation is declining due to its high cost of cultivation and continuous reduction in announcing less remunerative prices to the farmers by the policy makers. Of late the area under this crop is continuously declining in Telangana state of India. In order to facilitate the farmers to get lucrative prices and to increase area under this crop, sugarcane yields have to be enhanced more than 250 t/ha.

The present investigation was undertaken in eight districts of the Marathwada region of Maharashtra State (India) to study the socio-economic, psychological and situational causes of farmers’ suicide. Data was collected from the family members of the victims with the help of a specially designed interview schedule. Statistical tools like mean, standard deviation, percentage and frequency were used. Soup can be prepared from different food ingredient in different forms, of which dry soup mixes are more preferred by consumers because of its convenience, ease in preparation, shelf stability and popular appetizing capability. Spent hen meat can effectively be utilized in preparation of instant soup mix powder to overcome its poor acceptability and lowers remunerative prices. Method of drying and temperature applied during drying have key role on quality, shelf stability and consumer acceptability of the final product.
