This study provides a comprehensive examination of the histological features of non-neoplastic parenchyma in renal cell carcinoma (RCC). We prospectively collected radical nephrectomy (RN) specimens, to analyze the histological changes within peritumoral and distant parenchyma.

Avian urolithiasis, or known as gout, is resultant to kidney damage from any of a number of potential cause, namely infectious or nutritional disease, ingestion of toxins, or a combination of factors. The present study reports pathomorphology of visceral Gout in commercial broiler chicken from Puducherry and Tamil Nadu region in India. A total of 120 kidney samples were collected for gross and histopathological examination. 24 (20%) samples showed gross changes of visceral gout. Microscopically, gout was recorded in 28 (23.33%) cases.

The present study was undertaken to study the EC50 of aqueous extract of Dolichos biflorus seeds against ethylene glycol induced renal stone in rats. Hyperoxaluria and Calcium oxalate deposition in the kidney was induced by oral administration of ethylene glycol (EG) and ammonium chloride in the drinking water to a final concentration of 0.75% and 2%, respectively for 28 days.

Complications occur in 3% to33% of patients with renal trauma and include urinary extravasation with urinoma , infected urinoma, perinephric abcess, secondary hemorrhage secondary to a rupture of arteriovenous fistula or pseudoaneurysm. Late or delayed complications of renal trauma develop more than 4 weeks after injury and include hypertension, hydronephrosis, calculus formation, and chronic pyelonephritis, arterioveinous fistula.

Rickettsioses have been a threat all along the History and nowadays they are an important cause of morbi-mortality in some areas of the world. To know the distribution of the different diseases caused by these bacteria and how the clinical pictures are recognized may be essential for a quick diagnoses and starting the correct treatment.
