Poor grain plumpness (GP) is one of the main constraints to reaching the yield potential of hybrid rice. In this study, the GP of 177 rice varieties was investigated in three locations across 2 years. By combining the genotype data of 261 simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers, association mapping was conducted to identify the marker-GP association loci.

In this study, the complete chloroplast (cp) genome sequences from eight Aquilaria species were analyzed in silico. For identification of the simple sequence repeats (SSRs), MISA PERL script which had a repeat length of 12 for mononucleotides (mono-), 6 for dinucleotides (di-), 4 for trinucleotides (tri-), 3 for tetranucleotides (tetra-), pentanucleotides (penta-), and hexanucleotides (hexa-), respectively, along with frequency were utilized.

Meyer separated Thlaspi into 12 genera, specifically using the seed-coat anatomy. Currently, only 4 species have been retained in Thlaspi s.str and all of the other species were divided into other genera, one of which was Thlaspiceras F.K.Mey. The plant materials used in this research were collected in Turkey between 2014 and 2016. Specimens were identified according to Meyer’s identification and named according to Meyer. A total of 12 inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) primers, with 52 reliable polymorphic bands, were used in the cluster analyses.

Coxiella burnetii is a Gram-negative gammaproteobacterium and zoonotic agent of Q fever. C. burnetii’s genome contains an abundance of pseudogenes and numerous selfish genetic elements. The objective of this study was to find out microbial cause of repeat breeding in ten repeat breeder Murrah buffaloes at Government Livestock Farm, Sector-II, Hisar. The cytological samples were obtained from these buffaloes’ uterus using cytobrush technique and relating the findings to the presence of polymorphonuclear cells, identification of bacteria and antibiotic sensitivity pattern is reported.
