This study was conducted to evaluate the factors contributing to the spatial distribution of European hazelnut (Corylus avellane L.) in Bhutan and determine the suitable areas for cultivation of the crop in the near future (2040-2060) and distant future (2060-2080) under different climate scenarios of Representative Concentration Pathway (RCP) 2.6 and RCP 4.5 in Bhutan.

This study investigated the changes in the climate and the spatiotemporal variations in climate extreme indices of the Dano catchment in Burkina Faso using historical data for the period 1981–2010 and projected for the period 2020–2049. Rainfall and temperature simulations from two RCMs under two Representative Concentration Pathways (RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5) involved in the CORDEX-Africa project were used in this study

In this study, three different statistical downscale method namely delta method (DM), quantile mapping method (QMM) and empirical quantile mapping method (EQMM) are compare to downscale precipitation for Upper Shivnath basin. Model for Interdisciplinary Research on Climate 5 (MIRCO5) simulation model is used for future Representative Concentration Pathways (RCP) scenarios (RCP4.5) to project decadal changes in precipitationacross eighteen selected stations of Upper Shivnath basin. Three decades are selected for future prediction viz.

The C4 photosynthetic carbon cycle can be explained as the elaborated addition to the C3 photosynthetic pathway. It is a unique series of biochemical, anatomical and regulatory gene characteristics that concentrate CO2around the carboxylating enzyme Rubisco, thereby increasing photosynthetic efficiency during high rates of photorespiration. The C4 photosynthetic pathway has evolved as an adaptation to high light intensities, high temperatures and dryness, therefore in the warmer climates of the tropical and subtropical dominating the grassland floras and biomass production.

The study defined climate analog locations of cities and disappearing climate in Viet Nam at the end of the 21st century under the Representative Concentration Pathways 4.5 (RCP4.5) and 8.5 (RCP8.5) scenarios. Outputs from six regional climate experiments conducted under the Southeast Asia Regional Climate Downscaling/Coordinated Regional Climate Downscaling Experiment – Southeast Asia (SEACLID/CORDEX-SEA) were used, covering the domain of 15S - 27N, 89.5E - 146.5E.

This article presents analyses of changes in the seasonal characteristics of the far future climate (2080-2099) across Vietnam as projected by the Non-Hydrostatic Regional Climate Model (NHRCM) in terms of the RCP 8.5 (Representative Concentration Pathways 8.5) scenario. The results show significant changes in seasonal rainfall in Vietnam compared with the 1982- 2003 baseline period.

Sampling and analysis of local well water and surface soil gas (Strutt et al., 2005) were performed at the Weyburn field. The primary objectives of the soil gas analyses were to measure the natural background concentrations of CO2 and to ascertain whether CO2 or associated reservoir tracer gases were escaping to the near surface. Samples were collected three times over the course of two years on a regular spatial grid; additional samples that could represent possible vertical migration pathways were also collected at other sites in the surrounding area.
