In the research, three kinetic models including first order, Grau second order, Stover Kincannon model were studied to describe the process kinetics of the ammonium removal in the AX. This paper presents an investigation of appropriate irradiation conditions for MoO3 wire with porous structure in Dalat Nuclear Research Reactor. Theoretical calculation of irradiation time was obtained based on neutron flux distribution at different channels and locations.

The obtained results with the neutron flux correction were found to be in good agreement with the certified values. In conclusion, the proposed technique can be applied for activation analyses without sandwiching flux monitors between samples during irradiations.

In this paper, we present the results of computation for design of a new neutron imaging facility located at channel No. 3 of the Dalat Reactor. The design has two main parts: The neutron beam collimator and the radiation safety system. For the neutron beam collimator, the computational parameters such as neutron flux, cadmium ratio as well as ratio of neutron dose/gamma dose are reported.

This paper presents a model development of the Dalat nuclear research reactor (DNRR) with the Serpent 2 Monte Carlo code. The purpose is to prepare the DNRR Serpent 2 model for performing fuel burnup calculations of the DNRR as well as for generating multi-group neutron cross sections to be further used in the kinetics calculations of the DNRR with a 3D reactor kinetics code.

A new PGNAA facility has been installed at horizontal channel No.4 of the Dalat research reactor. The facility consists of the following parts: collimators, beam stopper, sample holder table, beam catcher, and biological shielding. The construction takes into account the basic parameters associated with the facility, such as adequate thermal neutron flux and cadmium ratio, good signal-to-background condition, small gamma-ray contamination in the beam and appropriately low dose-rate to the operating personnel.

The study aimed to evaluate the influence of different correlations implemented in the program on the prediction of the maximum surface temperature of the fuel bundle in a reactivity insertion accident when the reactor is at 11 MW critically.
