In recent years, alpine skiing, as one of the important sports of winter sports, its training methods have attracted widespread attention to improve physical and skill quality. Some people have proposed to combine cross-country skiing with cross-country skating to carry out this project sport to promote the development of ice and snow sports.

This project examines how the moving image can be used as a vehicle of memory, to express what is lost, what is gained and what changes occur in relation to personal family migratory history—a messy and ambiguous process. This practice-led research project investigates video work, using filmed materials and objects, to focus attention on the non-linear aspect of time as it is subjected to individual and collective memories. The outcomes highlight the sometimes disconnecting and unpredictable experiences of migration, storytelling, and memory.

Feather mites (Astigmata) are among the most common ectosymbionts that live on birds. The present research was conducted between 2010 and 2013 in the Kızılırmak delta Cernek Bird Ringing Station in Samsun, Turkey. Assessments of the taxonomy, collection methods, and the periodic host-species relationships of the mites collected were conducted for 591 individuals of 10 bird species belonging to the family Sylviidae captured using mist nets during the bird migration periods. Ten feather mite species were identified from the families Proctophyllodidae, Analgidae, and Trouesartidae.

This research proposes Internet Service Provider Switching Intention of Hanoi consumers Model with three factors originating from present service provider and one from alternative service provider. The research makes use of both qualititative method and quantitative method. The research model is tested with the survey data of 260 Hanoi consumers. Results show that the model is suitable for research into Internet service provider switching intention of Hanoi consumers.

This article was aimed at studying the factor influence to close-knit family happiness of the northeastern rural households that have overseas migrating laborers using the quantitative research method and the household level as the analytical unit. Data collection was conducted in July, 2017 by means of interview with 334 households having overseas migrating members in Chaiyaphum, the province that has the second highest number of overseas migrating laborers. The analysis of data was based on descriptive statistics and Multiple Regression technique.

This article aims to examine factors associated with the happiness of the northeastern rural households that have international migrant laborers. The quantitative research method was implemented in the study, and the household level was presented as unit of analysis. The 334 sample households were systematic random from the population in four Sub-district of Phu Kiew District in Chaiyaphum Province, where is the province with the second highest number of international migrant in Thailand. Data collection was conducted in July, 2017 by interview schedule.

After being informed about the annual outbreak and findings from the literature review, focus groups discussed two questions: “How do you think the bacteria are being transmitted to the small babies?” and “What could we do to prevent this transmission?” The women in the focus groups identified hygiene breaks, either during refrigeration or during the long hours of cleaning the chitterlings, as the likely method of transmission to children. Both interventions were evaluated in home cleaning and cooking trials, and in laboratory studies.

Psychologists can observe new or rare phenomena online and can do research on traditional psychological topics more efficiently, enabling them to expand the scale and scope of their research. Yet these opportunities entail risk both to research quality and to human subjects. Internet research is inherently no more risky than traditional observational, survey or experimental methods.

Incumbent technologies, such as internal combustion engines for transportation and the electrical power grid, have a huge head start and, in many cases, the rules of the game are written to support their continuation. Our society is comfortable with these technologies and has depended on them for many generations. Because we are not yet producing products at high volume, we are often faced with an initial cost disadvantage compared to traditional, less sustainable power generation methods.
