The effect of oral administration of probiotic, biogut on growth, survival, and immuno response and disease resistance against white muscle disease was examined in freshwater prawn, M. rosenbergii. Biogut was administered to prawn through the diet at 1%, 1.5% and 2.0% body weight/day for a period of 90-day in recirculatary rearing system. The prawns were sampled on 90 day and challenged with white muscle disease virus, which is highly potential disease to prawn through injection route at 50 μl / juvenile.

Many animals respond to a hot environment by resorting to an increased respiration rate and in some cases to open-mouth panting. Respiration rates in the camel increase very little with increase in ambient heat load and the respiratory route, probably, is a very minor source of water loss. In addition, camels are able to exhale unsaturated air under some conditions. The combination of cooling and desaturation can result in saving 60% of the water that would be present in fully saturated air exhaled at body temperature.

The diseases that are of the highest risk of accidental intro- duction into farms are denoted by ». These pathogens possess inherent properties of high transmissibility, and have enhanced resistance to inactivation (loss of infectivity) due to environmen- tal temperature and sunlight. Such pathogens therefore tend to occur more frequently on poultry sites. Table 2 summarizes the major route(s) of transmission for each of the major pathogens.

2004Tuberculosis is a major health problem throughout the world causing large number of deaths, more than that from any other single infectious disease. The review attempts to summarize theinformation available on host immune response to Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Since the mainroute of entry of the causative agent is the respiratory route, alveolar macrophages are theimportant cell types, which combat the pathogen. Various aspects of macrophage-mycobacteriuminteractions and the role of macrophage in host response such as binding of M.

Clinical Manifestations Pharyngitis Although seen in patients of all ages, GAS pharyngitis is one of the most common bacterial infections of childhood, accounting for 20–40% of all cases of exudative pharyngitis in children; it is rare among those under the age of 3. Younger children may manifest streptococcal infection with a syndrome of fever, malaise, and lymphadenopathy without exudative pharyngitis. Infection is acquired through contact with another individual carrying the organism.

Transmission to New Hosts As part of the pathogenic process, most microbes are shed from the host, often in a form infectious for susceptible individuals. However, the rate of transmissibility may not necessarily be high, even if the disease is severe in the infected individual, as transmissibility and virulence are not linked traits.
