To describe the literature exploring the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems to support creation and use of clinical documentation to guide future research. Despite the widespread adoption of EHRs, their use to support note-entry and reading/retrieval is still understudied. Further research is needed to investigate approaches to capture and represent clinicians’ reasoning and improve note-entry and retrieval/reading.

To conduct a systematic review of instruments used in national surveys of eHealth behaviors. Materials and Methods: Major databases and websites of federal agencies were searched with pre-determined inclusion and exclusion criteria. National surveys with measures of eHealth behaviors were identified. The survey instruments were retrieved, and their measures of eHealth behaviors were categorized and critiqued.

Objects, when understood as retrieval cues for memories, may elicit psychological benefits and connections to an individual's past. They are integral to our life story and help to form our individual sense of identity and ability to establish a sound psychological foundation. Transitional objects are an important related category of objects that have been identified in this research. The concept and use of transitional objects and their related phenomena during infancy is well researched, whereas the impact and importance beyond infancy is less established.

A few of the aims central to "Everyday English for Hospitality professionals" are: to activate readers' "event schemata," their sets of expectations about how ordinary hospitality events usually proceed; to concentrate on the most essential and most picturable steps in those activities; to create pictorial associations that aid in the storage and retrieval of vocabulary knowledge;...

Salivary cortisol collected at home is a useful test to diagnose and monitor Cushing’s syndrome in humans. The main problem in dogs is to retrieve a sufficient amount of saliva. The aim of this study was to evaluate different salivary collection methods and compare their effects on volume, pH and cortisol concentration of saliva.

Advances in computing have enabled current protein and RNA structure prediction and molecular simulation methods to dramatically increase their sampling of conformational spaces. The quickly growing number of experimentally resolved structures, and databases such as the Protein Data Bank, also implies large scale structural similarity analyses to retrieve and classify macromolecular data.

Semantic resources such as knowledge bases contains high-qualitystructured knowledge and therefore require significant effort from domain experts. Using the resources to reinforce the information retrieval from the unstructured text may further exploit the potentials of such unstructured text resources and their curated knowledge.

clusterbean (Cymopsis tetragonoloba (L.) Taub.) An attempt has been made to evaluate the effect of abiotic constraints (drought and temperature) on the growth of rhizobia isolated from clusterbean grown in semiarid regions of Haryana with a view to screen out stress tolerant rhizobial isolates. A total of 158 rhizobial isolates have been used for screening their stress tolerating ability with contrast to environmental abiotic soil conditions commonly prevailing in semi-arid regions of Haryana. All the isolates were phenotypically and biochemically characterized.

Microdissection testicular spem extraction is currently the optimal sperm retrieval method for non-obstructive azoospermia patients. Research and development of this technique will help clinicians have more tools to collect sperm effectively for non-obstructive azoospermia patients, enabling these patients to have children of their own.

Human trophoblast invasion and differentiation are essential for successful pregnancy outcome. The molecular mechanisms, however, are poorly understood. Interleukin (IL)-11, a cytokine, regulates endometrial epithelial cell adhesion. Leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) is one of the key cytokines in the embryo implantation regulation. The present study aimed to assess the levels of LIF, IL-11, and IL-11 a receptor gene expression in the endometrium of women undergoing IVF and correlate their levels with the IVF pregnancy outcome.

Human resource managers are confronted with the problem that they have to fulfil the enterprise’s competence needs either by developing their current staff or by recruiting new employees. In both cases decisions about who to select for the new position and more often which competences are crucial for the future success. This is especially true for highly dynamic industries like the IT industry. This article presents our work from the KoPIWA project in the Digital Economy.

With the accelerated implementation of e-learning systems in educational institutions, it has become possible to record learners’ study logs in recent years. It must be admitted that little research has been conducted upon the analysis of the study logs that are obtained. In addition, there is no software that traces the mouse movements of learners during their learning processes, which the authors believe would enable teachers to better understand their students’ behaviors.

With the abundance of learning objects (LOs) available across the web, there arises a demand for retrieving the LOs that exactly suit the learners’ requirements. In order to achieve this, the learner profile (LP) should exactly mimic the subject specific requirements of the learner as well as evolve over the learning cycle. Moreover, each LO should project itself in such a way that the learning management system is able to find it as a suitable candidate for a specific learner requirement.

To understand the dynamics of aerosols and their associated influence on regional and global climatic conditions requires the knowledge of spatial and temporal distributions of aerosols on regional and global scales. In this study, the satellite-based MODIS AODs retrievals level 2 products from Terra (MOD04-10 km) and Aqua (MYD04-10 km) satellites were inter-compared with the ground-based AERONET AODs (level 2) over Nghia Do station located in an urban area of Hanoi city, Vietnam for the period of 2010–2016.

The initial stage of knowledge-telling consists of creating or retrieving what the author wants to say and then generating a text to say it. The author is not entirely egocentric in knowledge-telling and can begin to take into account the reader's needs. Specifically, by the time children are beginning to write they realize that another person's thoughts about the world may differ from their own. By about the age of 4, children have acquired a theory of mind that allows them to take another's perspective (Wellman, 1990; Wellman, Cross, & Watson, 2001).

Writing an extended text at an advanced level involves not just the language system. It poses significant challenges to our cognitive systems for memory and thinking as well. Indeed, writers can put to use virtually everything they have learned and stored away in long-term memory. But they can only do so if their knowledge is accessible, either by rapidly retrieving it from long-term memory or by actively maintaining it in short-term working memory. Thinking is so closely linked to writing, at least in mature adults, that the two are practically twins.
