Gender issues and gender inequality still exist in many countries, especially in remote and poor rural areas. Rural women often suffer from economic disadvantages, low self-confidence in the family and community, and limited access to health, social services, and extension services, which leads to lesser decisionmaking roles in the production and business of households and in leadership at work.

This research conducted in Ketapang village as one of administrative area in Susukan subdistrict, Semarang regency. Agriculture sector in Ketapang village is managed by the society. Women farmer is managed by Women Farmer Group (WFG) with the name of An Nisak I, An Nisak II and Bunga. The results showed that the factors influenced in organic agricultural system carried out by women farmer group amongs other are inputs of production individual characteristics of the farmers, and cultures.

The IAASTD describes this as „the feminisation of agriculture‟ that is having profound and far-reaching effects, both positive and negative.
